He was bummed he couldn’t find Topps chrome, so decided to rip some unlicensed Donruss. He didn’t realize his auto was a nuke! 🤣

ATT to T-Mobile

Howdy. I have 3 lines, and thinking about adding a 4th.

My ATT bill is around $210/month (yeah I know I’m an idiot). I do fairly well and the cost isn’t overly hurting me, but it just pisses me off it’s so expensive. Unlimited Elite plans and I’m sure some other BS on each bill.

2 iPhone 14 max are paid off, one iPhone 17 max has a $950 balance still due in installments ($38/mo).

I’ve had ATT for 20+ years, I’ve never switched.

Would it be better for me to get new phones to replace my iPhone 14s (get new iPhone 17s first) and then take advantage of the $800 per line incentive?

Is there a better/smarter way for us to switch?

I know there are cheaper monthly services out there, but we don’t live in a city and ATT is already spotty in a lot of areas. I’d like to stick with one of the larger providers for now.

Thanks in advance!

Using old cards as decoration

I’m using the term decoration loosely, I’m definitely not stylish or whatever it is fancier people might be aiming for. I’ve started hanging old cards (and some new cards) in my office and my son’s mancave (he’s 15, it used to be our mancave but it’s turned into a spot for him and his friends 🫠).

He’s started collecting all the new shiny/sparkly/cartoon cards and has a dozen of these sheets hanging baseball/basketball/football in the room with cards of players he likes…his downtowns, low numbers, autos, etc are in a nicer wood display in his room with my Mantle and a few other decent but not crazy expensive cards.

Thought I’d share because my wife keeps thinking I’m ruining really nice cards, I told her the image I’m sharing might for for $5/$6 total.

Anyone else do anything with old cards besides just letting them sit in bins/binders?

Need advice on audible for roadtrip

I’ve scrolled through other lists and I have some ideas of what I might try next (1% lifesteal, ultimate level 1, and hell difficulty tutorial are all potential next reads). Would love some thoughts or feedback on these!

I normally read on my iPad or iPhone - paperbacks when I can. I haven’t listened to an audible book in a while and I have 6 credits just hanging out.

I’ll be in my car for 8 hours and would love some recommendations. Litrpg is a guilty pleasure. I enjoy op mc stories and good characters development/relationships (but not interested in harem or writers that have clearly never had a conversation with a woman). These aren’t requirements, just preferences.

In litrpg (and outside) some favorites are Primal Hunter, HWFWM, Path of Ascension, Unbound, Azarinth Healer, Warformed, I’ve read and love everything by Brandon Sanderson, WoT, and more but these are off top of my head some of my favorites.

I’ll probably lose 90% of you here…I couldn’t finish Dungeon Crawler Carl, DotF, Randidly, or Victor of Tucson. No particular reason on any of them, just couldn’t stay engaged (and I was at least 3-5 books into all of them). I tried audible DCC sometime last year and it was okay, kept me engaged, but it didn’t make me want to keep reading when I got home.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!
