Question about body armor
I’ve noticed in the past when I die to someone it will tell how much damage was blocked from my armour and what I have noticed is that t5 ammo overpowers t5 armor meaning that the bullet fully penetrated the armor on question and I have even noticed while using the u191 that it legit feels like I 2-3 tap t5 kids in the thorax when I shoot them so this is my question.
I have tested all t5 body armour and t6 and t4 in shooting range and every single dummy gets taken down in the same amount of bullets per tier or armour so if the m4 armoured rig gets taken down in x amount of shots every other t5 armor gets taken down in the same amount to so my question is this.
Is there even a reason to run expensive t5 armor when they all take the same amount of bullets to kill someone and does armour even matter if it isn’t t6 when facing t5 bullets? And what is the point of durability on armour if all the dummy’s in shooting range go down in the same amount of hits for each t5 body armor/ armoured chest rig? (Besides repairing costs I simply want to know surviving the most shots)
Also wouldn’t it be nice if the game told you how many bullets a enemy hit you with before you die instead of just showing 1-5 bullet holes on your character it only tells you how many bullets you put into a enemy if that enemy killed you.
Also my loot value is 3.8billion and I still have questions like this.
Overall to my understanding t5 bullets out match t5 armour meaning the bullet overpowers and owns the same tier or below armour it is hitting and if all the dummy’s die in shooting range with the same amount of bullets no matter what the armor is as long as the armour tier is the same so all t5 armor than what is the point of durability or material ( this question is purely for surviving more shots not cost to repair or how many repairs before the armour is useless )
