I've been on a binger playing a game that shall not be named, and all it did was remind me how much I prefer ABI. The pvp and red chasing and great, and I see that there's some new things etc...

Red chasing gets boring for me after a couple weeks however, and I've been hoping for awhile that abi adds more things to farm or look for outside of reds. Do they have more systems being developed that adds more depth to the game? or will it remain pvp, loot reds, rinse repeat? I searched it up and all I found was mention of a permanent pve mode

i work from home and have my system connected to a monitor below my work monitors and throughout the days will que up into secure ops with practically nothing and mostly camp unless i get a few minutes between calls to do some moving around.

i have noticed the vast majority of the time if i go hit a free safe quick at the start to try to pocket something before being afk i am pretty much never bothered. no matter where i go and im just standing there idle/afk not moving for 25 minutes at a time nobody will ever come to where i am or near me . even if its directors or general

if i get a few minutes before the match end i will run around trying to gather what i can and am consistently finding free safes untouched but the case/box/pc next to it is looted. (there is literally never once anything in any of the untouched safes besides like 5k cash and some shitty 10k purple)

just seems like way too much people are knowing exactly what to loot for highest value and where not to go for interaction

I finished my raid and extracted. Then a notification popped up saying that I quit my last raid and asking if I wanted to reconnect. I clicked yes. After that it just kept loading as if I had internet problems which I didn’t. Then I had to force close the game and launch it again. It asked me the same thing and I clicked no this time and then it said I would lose my items. I was like no way I lose the stuff I already extracted with and then I loaded into the main menu completely naked. Even the stuff that was in my case was gone. Like, wtf man? It says I retreated in my last match, how do i get my stuff back?

I get having scavs to prevent rats etc, but the amount of scavs are just annoying and pointless. Do we really need 50 scavs on northridge hotel? What is the point other then just distracting and annoyance. I strongly feel the amount of scavs in the game needs to be cut down in half at least.

here's why:

>GearScore doesn't matter

ammo not contributing to gear score,granades not contributing to gear score,atachments not contributing to gear-score cause you can have them in your rig (and devs are aware of it since last season) and worn armor having different gear scores-it all renders the very IDEA of gear-score completely useless the moment you learn to circunvent it,lockdown became the new Forbidden with T5 and T6 running everything with HK' and U191/T19*insert your favorite number 1~2 here,other 7 will be available in no time i'm sure* and Normals became the new Lockdown with people running lvl 4 gear with the ocasional lvl 5 ammo and costly atachments making all guns 0 recoil (yea,i'm starting to see people running that in Normals too),this system needs a rework or being down-right removed and replaced with something else

29% of guns are useless,50% are ok,20% are soo broken they render the other 50% also useless and the remaining 1% is leg-meta,the stats of the good guns are way too over-the-top compared to all other guns,you put the same lvl bullet in all guns of each class,shoot at different distances and the results are soo ridiculous not even lvl 5 ammo can make some weapons work in this game

everything that isn't lvl 6 is useless agaisn't the top dog guns AND EVEN THEN if your reaction time is not good enough (which is a skill issue btw) you still get anihilated that fast,nothing tanks as many bullets as they should at effective range while the moment the bullet gets past its effective range the damage drops soo hard a 5 round-to-kill target becomes your usual high-difficulty setting mob in a Bethesda game a.k.a a dammed bullet-sponge,best part?the chances of your arms doing a better job at tanking shots than your goddamn vest is soo common its borderline hilarious,its soo dumb in fact you realise the reason why no armor covers your arms in this game is that if there was people would only go for head-shots 24/7 otherwise you'd never kill a single operator because of sheer mags you'' be dumping trying to hit a chest just being absorbed into oblivion by arms covered in armor

cause armor protection and gun damage are soo badly design ammo ends up more stats on top of broken stats,TIER6 and TIER7 bullets being nerfed proved a point cause it got (most) snipers out but also adressed the existence of bullets and their respective stats being badly ballanced just like armor and gun stats are badly ballanced

gas is still dogshit cause if you don't bring in the item that counters it by turning you down-right immune to it or godforbid bring in a gas mask otherwise have fun staring at fart clouds all day and throw the game but also we're STILL DEALING WITH NADE SPAM 4 SEASONS IN!!!LIMIT THESE ALREADY OR ADD A GRANADE LAUNCHER SO AT LEAST THERE IS A EXCUSE FOR NADE SPAM TO BE A THING (and add some kind of counter to the hearing debuff of nades,that'd be cool)

i love when a game lets you play solo,i love even more when a game lets you play solo with no advantages or whatsoever to add that hardcore experience and make each extraction that more special,now,i R E A L L Y love when you enable auto match and the game throws you solo in a match filled with duos,trios and squads cause FUCK YOU THATS WHY!
we're in season 4,a whole year went by and mfs CAN'T FIGURE A MATCHMAKING SYSTEM OUT!!REMOVE THE OPTION TO AUTO-MATCH THEN,AT LEAST BE HONEST WITH THE PLAYERS AND TELL THEM STRAIGHT UP ''M A Y B E you'll get a teammate...M A Y B E you'll get like 2 or 3 teammates...........and M A Y B E you'll play alone and get f*cked you see-its like our cosmetic gacha but you don't win shit and pay with your time!''

and don't even get me started with cheaters,server issues and questionable monetization decisions (i like some cool dude or hot waifu skins but come on dude-look how many gachas we've got since the season started and how many new things were added to sh*t like the shop,its a wasteland with literally nothing cool in it)

conclusion:

i get that this is a F2P game (a chinese one btw big factor that must be adressed right here) but man-these issues are what makes a game BLEED players and with just 1 year ABI is already showing the symptons and none of them are being adressed fast enough nor properly by the devs,the events giving players tons of Koean is cool and the free cosmetics/bonds are also nice (specially since this is a F2P game) but they only help you to keep playing so you eventually keep running in the same issues time and time again till the game,something that should be fun,stops being fun and thats how me and many others are feeling right now,soo damn sad to see this game like this already man....soo sad.

Might sound weird but with around 500h clocked I only played lockdown, sometimes solo, sometimes duo usually max geared mostly armory/airport. What I noticed is that around 50% is T4, 35% is T5 and the rest is quick kits. Once in a while an m110 with T4 ammo to annoy you.

How does forbidden look like? Is there a lot T6 sweats? Is it mostly tappers and you have to stick indoors? Are there equivalent of quick kits who just run good weapon naked?

I know I can just start playing and find out myself, im just interested in other people sexperience.

If anyone wonders why we never touched forbidden its because we tried it one time, brought solid gear and then got cheesed by dudes tossing smokes with thermals. That left such a nasty mental scar that we coul not agree that randomly we will just lose unless we risk 2m thermal

If you sit in a corner does it glow bright enough to get you spottet or is it turned off if you dont have it equiped?

Thinking about moving away from Windows since it’s been pretty crappy lately, and I’m planning to install CachyOS. Do you guys know if the anti-cheat supports Linux, or could it ban me like Destiny 2 does?
