Crazy loaded question to put into a post, I know lol, but just wanted some guidance and info I could add to my decision-making when playing this beast of a character
I feel like his purple, either one could be played. For context, I always would go for shotgun, but after watching a clip online, I saw somebody pick 3 ult and ran smg sidearm with him
Also, I should add, this is only for the competitive side of apex and I'm searching for answers from master/pred players only. although if you're very skilled and would consider your advice valid, I will definitely accept them as well!
Firstly, is it worth it? And what character(s) should I be looking out for
The reason I'm getting back into it is cuz im a huge fan, and I currently play 7ds Origin, but it just doesn't make me feel fulfilled because so many of the characters I love (Lancelot, Percival, Gawain, Ban) are missing
Not implying that I'm in any sort of trouble, I'm a pretty boring person
But I am one that plans pretty far ahead and imagines a bunch of what-if scenarios

When I came back to this season to play, I watched vids on this mode and most (if not all) recommended Northridge—so I'm kinda confused cuz I thought Northridge was the better money-maker of the two.
dont even play the game like that cuz none of my highly favored characters are in yet, and nemu is garb and strike team is the weakest (mine at least)
You would've thought that plat would be the main material we're needing, but no. It's malachite and malachite alloy.
They're not gifting them to us thru events or anything, and they're not even a part of EITHER of the event stores!! Let alone Taranis' raid. (and yes, i know there are more on the event island, but thats just a slap in the face cuz it only allows you to get 1-2 more ores (and you need FIVE for just ONE malachite stone -_-))
Either buff the spawn locations for them in the world, or decrease the amount required to craft malachite.
*AND I DONT THINK ITS A COINCIDENCE THAT DAISY's PASSIVE HAS 0 EFFECT ON THIS ORE!! That, in my opinion, is a sign of greedy marketing and game design (or whatever you want to call it)(

I threw over 15 gold potions at the fire bird (been playing since the game came out) and nothing
I go for the new flying pet, who has a 6% LOWER chance, and i get it first try
My hypothesis: if one pet isn't working for you in that class (i.e. mount, flyer, etc. (and unless you really want it, dont go for it)) go and try a different pet; these percentages are not real. game developers can manipulate and tweak things that aren't at face value or blatantly shown in in-game descriptions. Yes, luck is a factor, but i also believe that the users' accounts play a factor as well (i.e. how new the account is, prior success on previous draws, captures, etc.)
DON'T GIVE UP AND GO GET THOSE PETS!!

Smoked his buddy that ran in on me first, and arguably had the jump on this dude first but since my ammo AND weapon was inferior to his, he wins.
In what FPS game are you allowed to run around the corner PURELY hip-firing, not even touching your ADS key/button, and successfully beat somebody in a 1v1 like this?
Has anybody else stumbled upon this thought when they got into this game?
I'm not completely mad, cuz I expect to die all the time while solo-queueing, but holy shit I think this game could use some balancing so that the higher-skilled players win 1v1s and the noobs dont get away with bull**** like this
Hopefully the U1 and chinese weapon nerfs next season helps my case
If you teleport to the baste prison, fly up on a mount to the very first level you can, next to the chest is an entrance and you see this soldier here. There's no way to remove the chaos either.
EDIT: Purify it using the book of stars and you can save the soldier, unlocking a hidden quest.
skipped meli and dont like how long it takes to solo dragon (i dont lfg much) with my holy escanor OR king.
could I build bug (i can get two masteries to make him p10) and use him as a darkness dps since i dont got meli?
Also, what is his optimal team, combo sequence, etc.
I myself have a P5 Escanor and having difficulties clearing the stage 5 of Timespace.
Also got a P5 Merlin and P4 Daisy, not sure who else to add to that team as I've tried Griamore (without engraving) and even Tioreh (P10)
UPDATE: retried timespace junction 5 with escanor; tioreh; merlin; and griamore (with engraving), and managed to clear it. crazy how much dmg this dude does. and honestly i think i screwed myself over initially during all my 20+ runs with this team because i was focusing too much on tryna burst with merlin and that wasted so much time. highly recommend goin all in on this build for escanor over his axe weapon 👍
basically title. i saw the buff that the mining machine just got and idk about yall, but farming play EVERYDAY is suuuper draining. im willing to exhaust all my resources just to make it easier on me. for my mental health, honestly.
they talked about a pet system in a future update that can do some farming for you but no concrete details have been released yet. what do yall think?
