Birthday Gift Conundrum...

Brothers/sisters, I'm in a tough situation, and as I don't really have many avenues to seek help, I've decided to ask here. Please help me on where I can turn to for evidence and clarity.
The situation is that it was my birthday a few weeks back. My little brother got me two gifts: a penguin you can crochet and a phone case. I didn't accept because, of course, we shouldn't partake in and normalise these birthday celebration rituals. Also, the penguin is a living being. Anyway, a few weeks go by, and he can't even return them anymore. Just now, he came to my room, took my old case off, and put the new one on. He said it's not my birthday anymore, so it's fine. I said that I read somewhere that it doesn't matter since it was intended for my birthday. Then, my other brother came, and they did this thing where one pretended to receive these gifts and then re-gifted them to me so that it wouldn't be a problem anymore and that I can just leave the eyes for the penguin out. I don't know what to do. I'm extremely averse to receiving gifts; I genuinely only like giving, and I feel so uncomfortable. What can I do? Please help.
