Figs split open on tree—are they ok to eat?
First year this tree has produced significant figs so surprised. Also they are enormous! Found these two figs, did not see them yesterday, looks like they split open at bottom. Doesn’t look like bird/squirrel got to them.
Are they safe to eat?
