Getting in to HIGNFY

I have two tickets for a recording in November in Hammersmith. I realise that these "tickets" are really just a permission to turn up and wait in a queue after which I may or may not get in, so I'm interested to hear of anyone's recent experience, especially how early I would have to turn up to make sure I'm in and any other tips.

I did see a post about this somewhere recently, but I can't find it, so feel free to redirect me if it still exists. Thank you.

A long way for the Scottish Highlands

Sorry, this is just my feeble attempt at getting noticed. There is a grain of truth though...

My wife is really quite keen on a trip to NZ. We are in our 60s and live in England.

Sincerely, it looks lovely and I'm sure there are many places to enjoy, but it's a really long way (no shit), and I wonder how much it will feel like being at home - lush English countryside, nice coast, mountains (in Scotland) - and whether we'll feel that we could have had a similar and certainly less exhausting and expensive holiday somewhere nearer home.

I'll do the trip for the wife, but Id love someone to sell NZ to me, especially if you're a Kiwi that knows the UK or a Brit that knows NZ. We're planning for 3 weeks next Feb/March.

Peace.
