What Jazzmaster setup should I get for around ~2000€?
Helloooo, I really fell in love with offsets and I want to get a Jazzmaster, and my budget would be around 2000€.
I played a Vintera, either I or II, in person once, but I really didn't like how the neck felt, it felt too big for me. I'm assuming it was either because of the neck shape, or because of the 7.25 radius, but I'm not sure. I then played an American Pro Classic after, and I liked the neck better. I also played an American Pro II once, and the neck was really nice and slim, I loved that one, but I heard the pickups are pretty bad and won't get you that Jazzmaster sound.
I don't want a sound that's too polished or soulless, that's why I was also looking at some used models on Reverb or Kleinanzeigen, but I'm worried about the neck not being what I'm looking for, and vintage tremolos and bridges seem terrible sometimes.
I found a MIM Player series with a mastery bridge and tremolo, and 920D electronics, pots and pickups, for around ~1200€, but I'm not quite sure if that's a bit too much or not what I want.
