Need clarification on Rahamu, Envoy of the Sacred Tome.
So I was playing Darklords with the new link, Rahamu, Envoy of the Sacred Tome, and I came into a situation where I went to use its effect. I thought I was using it properly but I was told by my opponent, who is a friend of mine and a better player than myself, that I was using the effect wrong. I want to share this so I can make sure I was playing the card correctly so I dont make the same mistake in the future.
Heres how it played out.
Hes got a somewhat okay-ish Dracotail board. Mirrorjade, defense Arthalion, set Flame, and set Horn.
I start with Djehuty, Morningstar, Ash, Forbidden Crown, and Rebellion in hand and i draw Fuwalos.
I start by crowning the mirrorjade to deactivate the banish and go on by normaling Djehuty and activating effect to special Golgalett in defense, then summon 2 tokens.
I proceed to link Djehuty and Golg into Rahamu, getting dance and i proceed to activate Rahamu's quick effect while on field to be able to normal a level 5 or higher Dark monster on resolution.
My opponent says I cannot activate this effect because I have already normal summoned Djehuty previously, using up my normal summon. After some banter, I trusted his judgement and recycled back the game state with his consent.
After the match, my other buddy said I messed up and I could have normaled via his effect because the text gives an additional normal summon.
Our judge was out of commission at the time so I couldn't ask him.
So, was my opponent right or was my friend right?
