Normal Spell Card
You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn.
(1) Show Normal Monster Cards in your hand, Deck, face-up field, and/or GY, then apply 1 of these effects, then if you showed a card(s) in the hand, you can draw 1 card.
● 2: Special Summon 1 Level 8 or lower non-Effect Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck as a Normal Monster Card.
● 3: Special Summon 1 “Zenet” monster from your Deck or 1 Normal Monster from your GY.

I think yes because the card includes an effect that adds a card from deck to hand (draw) but I just wanted to make sure. Does anyone have a precedent ruling that is similar?

My wife (F32) learned how to play Yu-Gi-Oh over the last couple of years and still has some questions that I'm having difficulty explaining because it feels so default for me at this point. To give some background, I (m34) have played Yugioh off and on for all 25 years of its life. I have a pretty good grasp of the game and made my best advances in 2009 - 2011 Synchro Formats.

So I feel like I have a pretty adaptable playstyle and combo understanding. It feels like it essentially boils down to a game experience and skill issue, but she still wants to learn how to play and enjoy our shared hobby of collecting and dueling. We only really duel each other anymore, and I have a pretty good array of decks: White Forest, Magnets, X-Sabers, Orcust, Sword Soul, Tearlaments ready to go. She likes and is trying to learn Purrely, Fire King, and Voiceless Voice.

My question boils down to just three points; if anyone can help, I would appreciate it!

1. What are some ways to better explain link summoning, chain blocking, and inherent vs effect summons?
2. She learns by watching and watched YouTube in the background at work a lot, so what Yugi-Tubers could I direct her towards, or that we could watch together, to help her better understand the game and how to play? She mainly wants to learn how to play Voiceless Voice well.
3. What deck could I pick up that you enjoy which may be softer versus Voiceless Voice, but still fun to play and give her some competition? I'm thinking Virtual World?

Why do some people want Handtraps Ash, Droll on the Banlist Limited or Banned ? What’s the purpose of Handtraps then if they don’t exist ?

No clue if I can post this here but I have plans to start a new mono type deck but I just can not decide which of the remaining 20 types because I have Zombie, Dinosaur/Reptile or Rock and Cyberse and now I have no clue which one to pick so I come here for a second opinion

I will be at my first regional in a few weeks.

I use for my extra deck konami sleeves and for my main and side deck dragonshield ones.

The konami sleeves are looking cool but are very poor quality. Thatsy why I tought, I will just oversleeve them with transparent dragonshield. But someone at my locals told me, that I would have to oversleeve the main deck too than.

Is this true? Cant I just oversleeve my extra deck with transparent ones?

So for starters, I haven’t played the game in about 20 years, but I’m looking to start playing it again. I’m fully aware that it’s way different now than it was in 2005. With that said, I have a few questions

1. Should I simply buy a few starter decks to get…..started? There was a post here linking a few of them. I’m interested in the Exodia one since that’s familiar to me.

2. Just how hard is it to get into nowadays? Which starter deck is a good one for beginners? I’ll link the post about them to the end of this one.

3. Anyone know of places in the Seattle/Puget Sound region with casual play? I also play the Pokemon TCG, but the place I do so at doesn’t do YuGiOh stuff very often.

Any advice is welcome!

Just recently got into Yu-Gi-Oh! And I’ve been having a ton of fun with it so far.

One thing I’ve been struggling with, though, is actually finding cards at a reasonable price. Whether I’m trying to upgrade the rarity of cards I already have or just track down specific singles for a deck, it can get surprisingly difficult—and the prices can get pretty crazy depending on the card.

At this point, I’ve mostly been relying on online marketplaces, Card shops, and recommendations from other players to find affordable singles. There are so many different places to buy cards online that it’s honestly hard to know which sites are reliable, which sellers are worth checking out, and where you can find good deals without overpaying.

For anyone who’s been playing Yu-Gi-Oh! for a while:

What are your go-to online sources for affordable singles???
Any websites, marketplaces, sellers, or tips for finding cards and rarity upgrades without spending a fortune?

I’d really appreciate any recommendations! I’m still pretty new to the hobby, so learning where everyone gets their cards online would help a lot.

I want only look some budget decklists.

If I want to invest into a meta deck (350-450€) realistically for how long can I use it before it becomes obsolete/powercrept ?

For example rolad just came out last month, when do you think It'll be powercrept ?

Just trying to assess when is the optimal moment to put some money down and whether it can be a bit durable or not, my objective being the nationals in may 2027

Hi folks. I used to run a dragon deck back in the OG days. Are they still viable? I remember using blue eyes, lord of D., and paladin of white dragon. I’m Wondering if I can get back into the game with a dragon deck again. Thanks folks!

Question about chaining. Let’s say that somebody has dragon master magia out on the field, his opponent place a spell card. Dragon master negates the spell, then the opponent chains a trap that negates an opponent’s monsters affect, can Dragon master then chain again to negate the trap?

Im trying to make a gambling deck to play against my bois at work. I need a way to either special summon dice jar from the deck consistently or a way to draw and reshuffle my hand successfully so I can get them. Here is my deck as of rn

So! If I have two ritual monster in my hand, and a ritual spell card that says I can tribute monsters from my hand, can I tribute one ritual monster as the cost to ritual summon the second?

I found a dark magician girl card lost in my room and now I’m fixated on the idea of building a deck around her they’d also budget and that gives me at least a chance to play against meta decks I might find at my local game store, I just want to be able to play and have fun (and sometimes win?)

Super into yugioh especially the DM era, I have every manga volume.

I was talking to a friend and she wants to duel with me in the DM era too.

Looking for a website or app where can we play each other but the decks are already made from any anime/manga character. So I can pick a yugi deck and she could pick kabia etc

Is something like this available? I normally only play legacy of duellist, would appreciate any help

Is the following the correct interpretation?

Player A activates Titaniklad during the End Phase, as Chain Link 1. They do not have to choose whether to Special Summon or Add at this point, nor do they have to choose a card yet.

Player B can choose to activate Mulcharmy Fuwalos in response.

Player A now picks the card and can decide to add instead of summon from the deck.
