Hey, everyone. I'm 31M and got diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in early April. I have some lesions in my brain and some permanent damage, like unsteadiness when walking, but it’s not as bad as it sounds. I can work a normal 40-hour week, and otherwise my daily life is pretty much normal. I do get tired very quickly, but I’ve always been that way.
Since the diagnosis, I’ve really been trying to exercise 4 out of 7 days a week because I’ve heard from a thousand sources that exercise helps a lot with multiple sclerosis. You should know that I’m relatively unathletic and have never seriously exercised for any length of time in my life. Right now, I ride my bike one day, do a home workout the next, then take a rest day. And so on.
I’d be curious to know if you guys exercise, and if so, what kind of exercise? Well, this post ended up being longer than I expected for such a simple question.
Sorry if this translated wrong, English is not my mother tongue.
