I am a 31y F and my mother is a 53y F.

when I was little I was closer to my grandparents because I never had a loving relationship with my mom. A few years ago she told my psychiatrist that the reason why she pushed me away when I was younger was because I looked like my Grandmother ( Fathers Mother)

when she has a bad day she takes it out on me. She criticizes me on everything and talks down to me, but her boyfriend does nothing to help around the house either but she never says anything bad about him.

my husband and I struggled for 5 years to get pregnant and also suffered a miscarriage and she said to me how can I even take care of a child.

am I crazy by saying she was emotionally abusive?
