I fly FPV drones, and other things which require lipo batteries. I was hoping to continue flying and capture some of the places in the keweenaw, but it looks like lipos are not allowed in dorms. Is there somewhere to keep them, or any other suggestions?
This is my first plane, inspired by a p-38. 42" wingspan, weighs just under 1kg, and plenty of thrust. Didn't have a very smooth flight here, and at first thought it was tail heavy. However, the cg is ahead of the center of the main wing, so I don't see how it could be. Now, I'm thinking it was just stalling and flying too slow. I don't think I got over half throttle, because I was scared to go faster and loose control. What should I do?
I started this as a school project a while ago, and now that its summer I figured I'd finish it. I just finished wiring all the electronics, although there aren't linkages on the control surfaces yet. It uses an f722 flight controller with dual 2207 2400kv motors. It's an original design inspired by a p-38. It weighs about 900g with 42" wingspan, and estimated thrust of about 3kg. I designed everything except the electronics, and its been a lot more work than I thought, hopefully I get at least one flight out of it lol.
