So I have a PayPal account and there is money on it. I am interested in putting a reloadable debit card on it as card. However as you know in order to activate a reloadable debit card I need to give my SSN for identity verification. I am concern about giving that information because I am worried about my mom. I am temporarily unemployed and hoped to have a self employed business. But I am starting to feel like I want to earn money by doing this side hustle temporarily until I can make money for work and provide and contribute more. Right now the money is going to fun stuff like in app purchases to Google Play. I am concerned that my mom would find out about my PayPal account and debit card by asking someone who needs access to my SSN or the Social security services that I gave my SSN. So my question is if she calls a social security services or someone who needs to see SSN, will they see a debit card or a PayPal account connected to my SSN.
