I'm having issues with my Asus ProArt laptop H7606 (R9, 4060, 32gb, oled + touchscreen). I bought it open boxed from Best Buy after it came back from the service center, but I believe its having hardware issues. Anytime I try to use it, the screen will randomly go black, then say "Pro Art" and restart. Here's what I tried so far:
- Reinstalled Windows (locally and from a usb)
- Performed all updates through MyAsus and windows
- Swapped out the SSD for a new one and reinstalled windows on there
- Turned off automatic restart and fast startup
- Ran multiple hardware tests (Furmark, OCCT) all tests come back with no errors at all. I ran Furmark for an hour and it never reset, but basic things like using Clip Studio turns it off.
I really want to make it work. The laptop's top cover is pretty banged up, so I don't think ASUS would want to touch it even with a manufacturer's warranty, and if I send it through best buy it will most likely get junked out since BB doesn't sell the model anymore. I don't want to return it, but I have no idea on where to go from here or what is even causing this issue. If anyone could help me I'd be very appreciative!
