My son’s NICU bill came back significantly lower than we thought. Victrix Honor Guard Ancient.
My son was born about 2 months ago, he was induced 3 weeks early. Came out a healthy weight and size but he had a slight breathing issue so they took him for what was supposed to be a short day or two observation visit to the NICU.
Well, 3 and a half weeks and many tests later, and he finally came home. It was a combination of lungs not fully developed and my wife’s medication causing these issues when breastfeeding, something we were never informed could be an issue.
Even with insurance, we were looking at 10k plus for the NICU stay. Well, our bill came and the over all cost was 56k for the birth and 280k for the NICU stay.
After both of our insurances were charged, we will only pay a total of $800 for everything.
