The thrill of fighting your first Matriarch to craft an Aphelion, is like no other.
To some it may not seem like much, but to me, the fight from beginning to end was one of the most intense. Seeing that first piece drop in the middle of the swarm of arc, and just keeping your eyes locked onto it hoping the one part you’re looking for is going to be there. The Rocketeer swarming around it just waiting for you to drop your guard and run for it. The Leaper, stuck in a buggy spot but still ready to pounce on you the second it sees you. The Bastion, currently giving another raider backshots of a lifetime, catches the slightest hint of you and just changes its entire focus to you. All of it is just a thrill for that one simple part needed to craft a gun you’ve seen other raiders have a blast with. All of it worth it just to put a smile on my face during one round, just to lose it at the end to the rat in the corner of the subway station. 10/10 would do it again.
