If I was Embark I would be truly embarrassed of the state of the game. Between how easy it is to snipe him and the cheaters it was an awful display of the game. Bluntly just cheating without any worry about getting banned even though they were on stream.

The only positive note is maybe this will finally put Embark on the spot addressing some of the problems with cheaters after sponsoring someone who just showed how terrible the state is for PVP.

It is really funny and surprisingly wholesome to see THOUSANDS of non-US players buying sandwiches and giving them to the homeless for an ARC Raiders skin.

I thought this whole collaboration was a meme but no, it's real. I'm kind of glad it is though - I think this is silly both in-game and online

Hi corporate slop partnerships suck. It sucks that only some people in certain parts of the world will be able to have accesss to a skin. It sucks that to get in game skins you have to purchase bullshit at some random qsr enshittified sandwich shop. We should be able to earn things in game because, and this is the important part, this is a video game.

"Oh but you just don't have to do it, let those of us enjoy things!" These types of partnerships are incredibly profitable, they don't do it because the community likes it, but they do do it if the community supports it enough to justify the cost. This is the first step to snoop dog skins, dorito skins, and basically the call of duty enshittification that comes for all live service games as of late.

This game has an awesome identity, don't let it get enshittified like all those that came before

Those tunnels we use to get to maps? Those are underground train tunnels- aka subway tunnels.

I’m not saying cooperate partnerships like this are good by any means. But I don’t think I’ve seen a single person mention that this isn’t random. I feel like I’m on crazy pills over here lol

I recently offered to go to Subway and buy combos if other users paid for it, and I would give the combos to other people for free in the store.

I was chatting it up with one user who reached out. First he said he had PayPal, and then sent me a QR code $10 gift card through “suuousbat”, which I have never heard of before.

Google shows this is a scam site. Clicking that QR code redirect your phone’s browser to malicious, data harvesting landing pages or attend to download malware.

Maybe it’s legit but seemed too sus for me to proceed.
