What changed from EA to 1.0 because of (japanese Monster) Lawsuits

Apparently the "N" word is not allowed here, i last played the Game on EA release and i will play it again after 1.0, i heard a lot of drama about lawsuits and patents.

The only things i know about are gliding and throwing a ball at something where patented by small "N" or something but im not up to date if that changed anything or if there were other changes?

[New Player] Questions

Hi Everyone, i played 8 hours so far and there are a lot of things i like but also dislike.

 1. How do you find Exits without having a Map open 24/7, so far i only found exits without a map by hugging the wall and since i only have a single monitor i cant have a map open at all times.

 2. How do i know where to find what item, the stash space is so limited, i already spend my money on the Therapist Materials Container but i cant get the drill or nails for the hideout Storage upgrade.

 3. Since the game doesnt really have color coding i just pick up items that i think could be usefull and anything that is purple and not a backpack, how do i know what items i should look for or keep?

 4. Whats the fastest way to level? Many trader levels are locked behind my own level even if i already have everything else like reputation or value sold to them, also the market says i can buy ARs and some scopes at level 25 or 40??? Im level 8 after 8 hours and i did most of these on factory where i already got a lot of kills, how long does it take to reach lvl 40, 150h?

 5. This isnt a question but ANY Tip is welcome that could improve the fun i have with this game <3

New Player Questions

I normally only play games again if there is a big update or DLC im excited about, so i take my sweet time on the single playtrough i do and try to 100% the game.

I know this game has factions and a lot of other stuff going on, so i have a few questions.

 1. How many hours did YOU spend on a single playtrough?

 2. What is the debt about when creating a character, does the game end once i pay it off or does it lock regions, etc?

3.Which Factions should i care about if i want to se the most in a single playtrough as many of them say WIP or "not yet supported in sandbox" whatever that means?

 1. Which Attributes should i pick? Can i level them later on or are they exclusive to the character creator? Does it make sense to start with nothing?

 2. What does it mean to use Eather more efficiently?

 3. Increasing Chance of finding loot and Artifacts sounds really good for my loot goblin brain, but how big is the increase and what negative perks should you pick to counter the steep cost of them?

 4. Attribute "Weird Luck: All probability Curves are made flatter" costs 0 and i would like to know what this affects. Does this affect loot, Enemy spawns, quest rewards? All perks in general are really vague without info on what or how much they actually do.

Any other tips are welcome of course <3

Can i play this Game blind with a friend,

I never played Baldurs Gate or any type of top down, turn based rpg before and neither has my friend. I would like to know if the game teaches you everything or if we should watch guides with the risk of seeing spoilers?

Gameplay Questions before Buying

Hi everyone, ive never played Gothic but i know some people that are really nostalgic towards it so i want to try it but i would like to know a few things first.

 1. How fun is stealing compared to other RPGs like KCD2 or Skyrim?

 1. Is the game worth playing trough multiple times aside from the Achievements, as in do your choices actually matter enough to change the story in a meaningful way? For example, i read that you can only join one camp per playtrough but the story is mainly build around the old camp.

 1. Is the game finished aside from patches or are there other DLCs coming down the road? Howlongtobeat says that its around 70h to 100% which seemed a bit short to me.

Movies with Great Endings that are NOT happy Endings

Im looking for great Endings that arent traditional Happy Endings, ive recently seen a lot of Movies that start out serious, where you can feel the stakes at play only for them to play it safe at the End.

Im looking for Endings similar to these, where the hero loses, the Villain wins and it just feels realistic

Nightcrawler

Blade Runner 2049

Le Mans 66 (Ford vs Ferrari)

Chronicle

The Town

Upgrade

The Accountant

Lord of War

Shot Caller

Se7en

Drive

Sicario

Low fps in menus and while using fullscreen Window

Any idea what could cause this? Game tells me i have 150fps but it feels like 15fps, only way i dont have this is while having Fullscreen on and running around, the moment i open any menu or inventory its 15fps again. I tried clearing shaders, restarting and im currently installing the game again, but this will take 2h.

How does the BAZAAR work?

Are these unique items, skins only or what do you get? Are these better deals than the DLCs?

For example the Colossal Snake, can this only be bought or also found in the world?

The Weapons in the Bazaar, are these only Skins or are these overpowered Items you get instantly?
