Help a noob :)

So I started playing PUBG recently. I'm 56.4 hours in and I'm in silver 1 at the moment. The recoil control in this game feels impossible...at least in medium ranges. I try to hit them with a SR or a DMR but I get sprayed down with like a Beryl.

I know I gotta practice but is there any other way to make it easier? I recently discovered the Vertical Sens Multiplier. Should I use that?

My sens is 25 and DPI is 1600.

1v4 by Supreeme

Had the pleasure of watching it live but just wanted to share this beautifully executed squad wipe by a world-class player. He is my inspiration for playing the AKM.

If only Krafton had the balls to make their ass cute and then maybe 10 players would be back

Why are they so worried about the wests opinions?

South Koreans have no balls.

What’s your highest score in aim training?

Before anyone will start lecturing me about how it’s not the ultimate form of skill display, I can say with confidence that that’s not what it is about.

I know that even if I somehow get a higher score than TGLTN he will absolutely slaughter me 1 vs 1 every time and anywhere.

The point for me is to see how much better MECHANICALLY a more experienced player is compared to me who merely has 300hours in game, against veterans with multiple thousands of hours. As I do not imagine me being able to 1 vs 1 everyone on this subreddit😂

Also it’s the easiest thing to check as it puts all participant in the same condition so less bias.

My PB was 730 points with Beryl
My preference goes to a Muzzle Brake and Half-grip or Tilted Grip. My biggest issue is the screen shake and horizontal recoil. So naturally they do wonders for me.

Got 48 kills.Personally I don’t think you have to include your accuracy %, as it’s about killing dummies as fast as possible. Granted you will achieve a higher accuracy with the higher score so it kinda goes without saying.

Also if you can, tell me what gun you used and what attachments as it’s interesting to find out what people prefer.

A suggestion for a scenario to practice headshots (HS)

PUBG should be played for hs. Some struggle to build the muscle memory to aim always for the head. HS are deadly, this should be a basic skill of any willing to be a good player.

So, I'd like to suggest a scenario to practice that. It could be a TDM secondary mode. Or maybe a Casual BR mode. The suggestion is as follows.

1-The character models have the head but the rest of the body could be something that looks different in a way that it makes the heads to stand out. Idk maybe cardboards, for example. To make the head to stand out. 2-Or maybe the heads glow or have a different color to make it easier to see and aim for.

Also, maybe in these modes, only hs do damage. If the player hits the body, there's no damage done. The glowing heads and the hs being the only that damages should help the players in building the skill to aim for the head as second nature.

What is your PUBG curse?

I swear when it comes to PUBG there are a series of curses. I’ll lead with mine.

Whenever I land in a pretty empty or safe area with time to get some gear sorted - I land immediately on a fully automatic weapon, plenty of ammo, and get a vest and helmet. Worst case, it might take a minute to find a backpack.

Now when I land in a dense area with other squads, plenty of threats, and it’s gonna be real hot with pushes right away - I land on DMRs with one ammo box or even no weapons at all and no protective gear. I’d even take a shotgun and follow a team mate to at least be of some help. But nope.

I’m a fan of doing hot drops, I’m always down to get right into the fight, but PUBG is not always down to let me do it.

What’s your curse?

For the pubg trophies I have a question

Are you able to farm for them in this mode. Whether it’s car kills, gun kills, frags and etc.

PUBG sensitivity conversion tool for DPI, vertical multiplier, scopes, and resolution changes

Hi everyone,

I put together a PUBG sensitivity conversion tool and wanted to share it in case it is useful for other players.

It can be used to compare sensitivity values when changing DPI, ADS sensitivity, vertical multiplier, scope sensitivity, resolution, or aspect ratio.

Features:

- ADS sensitivity conversion

- DPI conversion

- PUBG-style eDPI calculation

- Vertical sensitivity multiplier calculation

- Scope sensitivity calculation

- Resolution / aspect ratio conversion

- Offline HTML version

- Excel version

- Multilingual support: Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Russian

One thing I wanted to make clearer with this tool is eDPI.

PUBG’s in-game sensitivity scale is not very intuitive because an increase of 15 sensitivity roughly doubles the perceived sensitivity. So instead of treating the in-game sensitivity number as a simple linear value, this tool converts it into a more intuitive eDPI-style value, similar to how players often compare sensitivity in games like CS.

This is not meant to be a “best sensitivity” guide.

It is just a conversion tool for players who already know their own preferred sensitivity and want to keep the feeling as consistent as possible when changing settings.

Web version:

https://lokx-x.github.io/pubg-sensitivity-calculator/

GitHub repository:

https://github.com/Lokx-x/pubg-sensitivity-calculator

If this kind of external tool post is not allowed here, feel free to remove it.

If anyone finds a mistake in the formulas, translations, or UI, feedback would be appreciated.

## Update: v2.2 released

I updated the calculator with a new 360° Distance / cross-game sensitivity reference section.

Main changes:

- Added PUBG 360° Distance calculation

- Added CS2 / Valorant / Overwatch reference conversion

- Added TPP / FPP / ADS state selection

- Added FPP FOV selection from 80 to 103

- Updated FPP / TPP / ADS correction values based on manual testing

- Updated aspect-ratio correction values

- Updated 16:9 ↔ 4:3 conversion logic

Note:

The new 360° Distance and cross-game values are unofficial reference values, not official PUBG/KRAFTON values. They are intended as practical starting points rather than perfect 1:1 feel matches.

What motivates so many players to be so rude?

I can’t imagine how people can be so grumpy/hostile in VC straight away, before the game even starts!

Like, we’re playing a video game, dude! We are here to have fun! Why are you even here if you’re in such a sour mood? Is this your baseline?

I don’t understand :/

Ranked mode needs to be locked behind Bronze Tier 1 (or higher). I'd literally pay Krafton to make this happen.

I’ve had absolutely enough. Ranked mode in this game is a complete joke right now because any fresh account can just hop in and ruin the competitive integrity.

We desperately need Ranked to be restricted to players who are above Bronze Tier 1.

Now, I understand the counterargument: this means brand new, legitimate players will be stuck playing in normal matches with all the low-level cheaters and bots. It sucks for them, I get it. But Ranked is supposed to be the premier, competitive experience, and right now it feels totally compromised by throwaway accounts.

Honestly, I am so passionate about this that I would genuinely pay out of my own pocket for this to be implemented. I’d personally fund the wages of the PUBG dev team just to write the code for this restriction.

Please tell me I'm not the only one losing my mind over this. Upvote so the devs or community managers might actually see this and consider it.

How hard can it be?!

Wtf! I play this game for 3 months now and I am wondering, how is this game online for 9 years.
It makes a lot of fun, but things like tracking people with step sound is ridicolous bad and a damn marker where my shots will land seems like impossible for the developers? You already implemented it with aiming! Do it with ADS as well!
