Uber is regularly lying about the exact distance for pick up to drop off.
I have keep my eyes on the exact mileage for the last 10 trips to verify because I knew I wasn’t crazy but I sure was feeling like it. For example you will have an offer come in and it will say 2.9 miles to pick up and 1.6 miles to destination after pickup.
Then usually the actual mileage for the pick up is .5-1.0 miles longer and so is the destination after pick up essentially taking the ride offered from being 2.9 to 3.5 and the destination after pick up to 2.0 miles. After a while that shit adds up.
