Player Numbers

I think it’s so sad that the game only get a number push on 4th of May. I still have a lot more fun here than in any egoshooters like battlefield or CoD. But now only la few weeks after, it’s completely dead again.
Would be so nice if more people start to play again, even that I hate the new movies, I love the units and gameplay in resistance/new order mode, and it’s almost impossible to find enough players…

I would even give 50 bucks for a dlc for new content, just so that players come back to the game again. Someone knows places where it’s possible to motivate people to come back to the game?

Trash team HvV

Literally watch my shit team sit there and wait their turn to get clapped when it comes to fight it’s ridiculous how brain dead people are, don’t get me wrong 1v1 are fun & I’m always down to hit a 1v1 in HvV but when 4 players are on my ass and I wonder where the fuck is my team their bullshitting or watching me while blocking ?????? It’s annoying asf or if I’m literally in a 1v3 and I see Vader next to me not doing shit until I die then he magically want to help or if boba fett is flying around and everyone decides to chase him instead of fight the guys hitting them on the back or use strategy my god it’s 3am and that shit made me roar

This will forever disappoint me.

Back when SWBF2015 launched, a large group of players begged EA/DICE to add AI support for all the modes, citing game preservation among a myriad of things. People on the forums at the time gatekept and pushed back against the idea saying it was dumb. But the rest of players who weren’t shortsighted, saw this coming a mile away; and we genuinely loved this game and wanted to be able to hop on it any time we wanted in the future. They eventually released skirmish because of how much we begged, which only supported vanilla WA and FS. All dlc maps/modes were absent, as well as all vanilla modes besides FS and WA were absent. On top of it, you couldn’t progress at all in skirmish.

Now this is the result. Unless you plan with 39 other people, you will *never* find a dlc match on public lobbies. You will *never* find a match for droid run or cargo. You will be met with this screen for 10 ish minutes before you’re booted to the main menu. You’re still able to find vanilla WA games in public matches, but i never joined a full one; the record so far was 26/40. But imagine shelling out $50 at the time for the season pass? I only have the pass because they made it free for a few days back in 2017 from what I assume were abysmal player counts; and even then you can’t find anything.

If you’re on PS or Xbox and want to casually hop on the game to play on the death star, you literally cannot do that anymore. You have to set dates on reddit or discord with no results guaranteed depending on when you’re off work, because everyone is on SWBF2 or just moved on to something else.

Their game preservation philosophy is actually a joke, and seeing EA lose their star wars money making license was extremely satisfying, they deserved nothing less. If any of you in 2015 were on the EA forums pushing back against AI being added to preserve the game, I genuinely hope this was your all time favorite game to play, and that you’re forced to stare at this screen whenever you want to hop on.

What are the most deplorable things a player can do in this game?

For me it’s:

• bunny hopping
• secondary fire spamming on ANY character
• doing the skybox glitch in supremacy

Opinions on Geonosis

What is the general opinion on geonosis? I have talked to a couple people on the game who make it sound like the greatest map of all time and others who absolutely hate it. To me it is a great cinematic map but other wise it is pretty garbage for gameplay (Galactic assault anyway, I haven't played the conquest map much). What do yall think makes the map so great/poor?

unrelated side note: If I see one more person sniping on phase 3 of Kamino inside the halls, I am going to crash out /s.

Yoda us the most fun character to play by far!

His movement is just so amazingly fun, keeping your lightsaber off until darting among rubble until the last second you jump into several droids is just peak.
