the pacing, the weapon variety, the story, the characters, the dialogue, the level design, the bombastic set pieces, the tank controls man this game had it all
the characters holy shit man the characters have so much memorable hilarious dialogue man so many memes have been spawned from this game its incredible.
the level design I mean come on man this is the best level design in the series.
the atmosphere is unmatched too it really makes you feel like you're in autumn of 2004 bro and thats something I REALLY don't like about the remakes man the remakes really do not give you the impression that they're taking place in the time period they're set in. whether its the 90s or the 2000s they don't really capture it as well as these OG's did but thats neither here nor there
the weapon variety is great, tons of fun weapons in this game
the music is great, especially the mercenaries themes man
the bosses are great, tons of boss variety
the art style oh my god the art direction man. I love the way this game looks bro I ADORE the way the characters look too, faces and all, something about them just looks so aesthetically pleasing and as for the environments themselves, the environments had that really dark grimy look to them its great man and I feel like the dated graphical fidelity really brings it out a lot more, the art direction was just timeless man
in conclusion resident evil 4 was the game to kickoff resident evils best era which is the action era. resident evil 4 bro this was peak resident evil man the cheesiness, the character designs, the dialogue, the set pieces, the weapons, the atmosphere, the coolness, the aura, the style, the 2000s energy, this game was peak resident evil man.
I wasn't alive in 2005 so I don't really know if the hate was as massive as everyone here says it was but ya know man I can kinda understand why cause I mean the series was horror based so to see it turn into over the top anime action oriented michael bay shit must have been kinda irritating but I still think its the greatest game of all time, you can't really deny that.

I thought the knowledge came with age, now that im a bit older I think the knowledge comes from experience in my opinion.
going through hard things in life can make you a better person in many ways. maybe you'll get a broader perspective on life, maybe you'll get become a mentally stronger person, maybe even become a nicer person if you were an ass of a person before, but so many other young people I see, its like holy shit when will we learn? instead of improving themselves its like they just get worse and worse its like they're proud of this shit a lot of us really think this life shit is a game, this life shit ain't no game lol
