I made RE4 remake earrings!

I genuinely have no idea why I didn’t think to make these sooner? I based them around the blue medallions you end up shooting in game for the merchant!

My ranking of all the RE games ive played, its not that many. (Warning, you will probably hate me but its my opinion)

Ive been a fan since february when i got RE4 Remake with my ps5, and ive been hooked. After that i played 2+3 remake, 7, Village, Requiem, and 6. Ive only played 2, 7, and 8 once, so these are my first impressions. Ive done leon and most of Adas campaign in re6.

Replayed RE9 on an 85" screen. INSANE.

I'm a huge horror game nerd, and I've been playing Resident Evil games forever. But my setup was overdue for an upgrade tbh, so I went for a bigger screen. Ended up getting an 85" TV mostly cuz I wanted games to feel more immersive. Replayed RE9 on it this week and holy shit, it's a different experience.

The bigger screen makes the darker areas, creepy little details, and all those close-up moments feel way more intense. The RGB color is what surprised me most. The colors in the game look really rich without everything just turning into a neon mess. I kept catching little details I probably would’ve ignored on my old setup.

Anyone else here play horror games on a huge screen? NGL it's awesome.

Bit of a crazy one that still doesn’t feel real. I’m a writer and my first book has been published today. It’s all about action horror games and features interviews with a bunch of iconic names - including the first chapter, with John!

John’s enthusiasm and honesty really sets the tone for some pretty personal stories throughout the rest of the book, which features chapters with Ken Levine, Marc Laidlaw, Maggie Robertson and many others.

It’s a dream come true for me. To round it off, John agreed to write the foreword, in which he says some immensely nice things about my work.

I figured people here might get a kick out of an in-depth, sit down chat with the great man himself. Oh, and the book features a killer jacket designed by comic book artist Ray Dillon.

‘Beyond Fear: Inside Action Horror Games’ is available online and across most countries right now, with pre-orders also happening in the US. I’d love for the community to check it out! Thank you and feel free to drop me any questions🤘

EDIT - I’ve had a few requests for links to order, so please see below 😊 Huge thank you to anyone who picks it up!

US pre-orders:
Amazon
(Also available from Barnes & Noble etc)

UK orders (available now):

(Also available from Waterstones, Foyles, Blackwells etc)

No, you don't have to play OG RE games to be a fan.

I'm sick and tired of all these "hardcore" RE fans that gatekeep the shit out of everything. Yeah, I agree. The posers (people who have not played a single game in their life) shouldn't be calling themselves a fan. They could at least play a demo or something but nope. Those people suck, not people who haven't played an OG RE game. So if you're one of those people, do me a solid. Shut the fuck up.

Finished requiem yesterday and holy shit it was peak.

I didn’t know there were 2 different endings and the first one that I picked was the one where Leon gets killed by Zeno 😭😭😭😭😭. Thankfully that wasn’t the only ending and I got to pick the other one where Leon fights Gideon and he beats him. I was genuinely so scared because I thought Capcom killed off Leon for good but nah they didn’t.
