Devil's Advocate - JP:TG Tylosaurus is a more artistic take on the Tylosaurus and lacks the proper tail fluke among other liberties, but good lord if the JWE Tylosaurus isn't exactly the most sightly of creatures to behold...

I remember somehow dodging all the reveals for the Tylosaurus leading up to release as a little treat for myself as a huge Tylosaurus fan, and ended up rather disappointed with the overall look of it. If they're going to a gnarled crocodile look, why not adapt some of the design elements from Telltale's crack at the Tylo? Colours were all also super murky and bland and I sorely missed the blue body with dark stripes and white underbelly motif as well.

All-in-all, I was/am disappointed by it... There could be something to say about JWE Troodon too, but I can at least recognize that Telltale *entirely* made an original dinosaur and just called it a "Troodon Pectinodon". At least we still got a JP:TG themed colour scheme for Troodon and it's likeness has resurfaced a couple of times in various toylines!

Innioasis Y2 restock?

Was thinking of treating myself/getting a backup option to my iPod 4G Photo with the Innioasis iPod-clone... Did some sleuthing and found that the Y2 was definitely the better option to the Y1 (expendable storage is goated), but can find the Y2 anywhere on 3rd party stores and it's completely sold out on the official site.

Any chance they're going to restock?

Does the concept of physical beauty matter less to someone born blind than it does to someone who became blind later on in life?

Watched a video pertaining to the controversy surrounding TikToker KittysBlind and one of the topics was about her making comments about her ex being "ugly" according to her friends. One of the counterpoints on the video was that blind people are still allowed to have a preference, and logically Kitty would have a visual preference to he attracted to since she only became blind later in life... But how much does the ability to see affect how someone can gauge physical attractiveness?

Not trying to be insensitive to blind/disabled people, it's just genuinely got me thinking about whether or not "being ugly" matters to blind people that had vision to blind people that never had vision.

RtSH would've been marginally better had Gans just made an original film

Everyone complaining about that multi-bodied monster from the Creggers RE movie as if we haven't seen that kinda stuff in-universe before boggles my mind.

With each of the Non-Ash Evil Dead films having a real-world issue tying together the insanity, what do you think k Wrath's topic will center around?

With Evil Dead Wrath purportedly being set in the early 1970s, I'm certain it may touch on the theme of war drafts/draft dodging, as it was very common to hear about men who were drafted to go to Vietnam instead opted to hit the road and keep low... Methinks a draft dodger or two would 100% try to keep themselves hidden in a cabin somewhere deep in the woods perchance.

Additionally, the themes of draft dodging are kinda relevant with just how many wars there are currently going on in the world, with many people jokingly posting about how they plan to dodge a WWIII drafting on their social medias... It's a solid enough subject for the current era of Evil Dead to tackle!

Any chance of Super Lone Survivor getting ported?

I really don't wanna make a "plz do the hard stuff for me" kinda post, but I'm killing for more atmospheric psychological survival horror titles making the leap onto Portmaster, and when sizing up options that wouldn't be too tall an order that are currently available on Steam, my mind very quickly went to Lone Survivor - a sort of 16-bit psychological survival horror game that essentially encapsulates what a retro-style Silent Hill game could be...

Controls are simple enough, while the visuals are beautiful... I'd absolutely love to see it make the leap onto Portmaster someday!

Google doesn't act on Ai slop because it could hurt their overall endorsement of Ai content.

I have a low-stake conspiracy theory that the reason these Ai ads and videos that're flooding YouTube and social media platforms are as bad as they are is because Google absolutely fucking loves Ai and they don't want to filter/censor/intrude on the abysmal slopshit on their platforms because it would show their stakeholders that Ai is actually doing harm to the platforms... Turn a blind eye and keep bankrolling it while the user base gets blasted by porn ads, videos of characters of questionable ages and demographics getting brutalized in a multitude of ways and nonsensical brainrot slop, it's not like the reporting features ever actually take it down either.

Not a shill... But this guy kinda sounds like deep-voice pyro (minus the slurs)

It's been said before, but it's always worth bringing up the fact that Telltale's JP has been one of the only instances where a rex fought a trike in the series.

Like, seriously, I know the imagery of a Tyrannosaur battling a Triceratops isn't exactly a new idea, but it's SO iconic in paleontology and it's baffling that the IP has gone into hybrids, robots and mutants in the mainline canon before we've even seen this happen once!

To be fair, the game *was* canon prior to the JW trilogy methodically retconned aspects of it until Dominion outright made the main plotthread unfeasible to have ever happened (it's the biggest drawback I have for Jurassic World, tbh...), so we *did* have a canon Rex v Trike before the game was deemed non-canon... But that's just all the more reason as to why we need it on the big screen!

Halloween decor came early, meet Larry the Landscaping Skeleton!

Total cost of everything was $17.25CAD at my local Dollarama, which is pretty solid considering most 3-piece "Ground Breaker" props go for $20-30 at seasonal stores... Had a lot of fun making Larry too!
