Large skull build advice

I’d love to buy/build a large skull to put above my side garage door. I have no experience building props. Does anyone have advice on how to go about building this? Or someone/some place that could work on something like this?

$30 Body In a Bag

If only there was a cheap way to make this... Black trash bag, duct tape, some milk jugs for the body.

Lighting check number 1 of many Pumpkins Of Porter Ranch

It's still early days and there'll no doubt be some tweaks made; but this came out fantastic. The bushes and trees double as living pillars and columns between the fence panels.

Wazzup Ghostface Animatronic

Still very much a work in progress. I have never built anything like this so it has been a learn as I go process. The movement is a little bit too fast for me so I might have to get a speed controller. Was looking for some sort of audio box that I’m not going to spend a lot of money on, most of the stuff on Amazon looks cheap or unreliable. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Help Me Plan a Beetlejuice Sandworm?

I have done some pretty large scale prop/decoration builds in the past and have a general idea, but would love to bounce my plans off some other people.

I want to build the sandworm from Beetlejuice large enough to be in my front yard for Halloween. I’m thinking the head section will be maybe 5’ tall as a minimum (would love to feel confident building taller but unsure), for scale.

I’m sure I will be somewhere in the range of chicken wire/paper mache/air dry clay/joint compound, but for something so large I am also kicking around doing something more cardboard based?

Please spam me with any and all ideas you may have.

Photos of some past builds and my Beetlejuice year (in front of someone else’s inflatable) for tax.

Dry assembly looks pretty good. A few tweaks then disassemble glue and paint. Final product coming soon.

Building season has started

This year's theme is going to be witchcraft. Can you tell?

The coals are made with PU expanding foam and seedpixel lights. The cauldron is papier-maché with some pipe insulation for the brim and clay feet and handles. There's going to be a stepper motor inside to magically stir the brew inside. Working on a witch animatronic in parallel. Will update later.

Walls

I want to make my basement/garage into a multiple room haunted house instead of just 1 giant room. What are some ways to create a temporary wall?

cauldron coating

A few years ago, I got a huge cauldron and aged it using mod podge and sand (and a few odds and ends) but over time, the mod podge has flaked off, some in huge chunks. Is there anything I can coat the cauldron with to keep the mod podge in place that won't make it look shiny? It's outside, so it has to be waterproof.

Best projector for Halloween to buy ahead of October?

I know it's early lol, but I'd rather figure this out now than panic-buy something in October.

Mostly want it for Halloween decorations, but it'd be nice if I could also use it for backyard movie nights later.

Anyone bought a projector for this kind of setup? What ended up being worth the money, and what should I avoid?

Spirit Demonic Gatekeeper mouth issue

Does this look right? I feel like something is going on with the mouth movement. Like it shouldn't be clacking against the torso. Was curious if anyone else has seen problems with Spirit talking props. I got it 2nd hand...traded a scarecrow I made for it.
