Help with wiring this Jeep wiper motor? I cross referenced the Fright Prop videos, and check some wiring PDFs, but I don't want to start a fire or shock myself. More in comments.

Recommendations for a permanent build

I'll try to make this short without giving too many annoying and useless details. The quick of it is that we need to build a corral of sorts for our garbage bins. This is something I've been meaning to get to but haven't had the time to. The problem is now I've had a neighbor lodge a formal complaint with the city that we don't have our bins stored properly. So now, I can't just build the normal corral (something similar to this) without being a jerk about it.

My initial thought was to make it look like a crypt of some sort, but I'm starting to think the dimensions will be odd because of how big the thing needs to be to hide the garbage cans.

I've already had neighbors complain and call me a Satanist because I leave a skeleton out year round and dress him for the holidays. So I'm fed up enough to just kinda just lean into it at this point, which is why I'd like to horrify up my garbage bin corral. It's something that will absolutely irritate the neighborhood busy bodies, but it's not something they can make a formal complaint about, they're just stuck with it.

I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for what I could do in terms of disguising this as a Halloween-esque prop to leave out permanently? I'm pretty new to the building side of Halloween, and the creative ideas part is definitely where I need the practice.

As we enter the 2026 Build Season...

Stay cool and hydrated! If you feel lightheaded or excessively sweaty, STOP AND RELAX FOR A WHILE! Don't let your ego make bad decisions for you.

Making a haunted well this year using dollar store landscape edging.

It fits so well together I can't believe it. This entire well is about 15 pieces looped and just set on top of each other. I'm going to glue them together to make it more sturdy and add some darker paint/moss and maybe some vines. I was just exceptionally excited about how cheap and easy this was.

It took 3 pieces of edging snapped together in a circle for each loop.

Pink foam coffins

Has any made pink foam coffins that can breakdown after the season for storage. I was thinking g about making them using a dovetail design on the corners. Not trying to reinvent the wheel if someone has already made them like this.

Fog machine recommendations

Hi! Looking to setup my side yard for a mini haunt. Going to make my own tombstones and set up some ghostly figures. Any idea on what wattage for a dog machine? The side yard has a steep hill so it would be great to have fog seep down. I’ve seen DIY videos on how to make a fog chiller setup but any recommended brands or models for a fog machine would be great. Looking to spend up to or preferably under $200 on a fog machine

Who Is the best Animatronic Manufacturing company?

I only ask this because I have some ideas for animatronics that I want to be made while also getting a cut of the sales from said animatronics.

So I guess a better question would be who is the best company to make that happen?

Simplify or downsize blacklight rig

3 halloweens ago I built this blacklight stand to light up my toxic waste dump. It works really well at lighting, but is heavy, hard to store, and wobbly. I went with this instead of just a tripod in front because it doest clutter our driveway and make another cord tripping hazard.

Looking for any advice on ways to simplify it but still get good lighting.

Where are these props from?

I’m extremely sorry for the heavily graphic and grotesque images but I’ve seen a couple of these Halloween props before from a Halloween haunt show or something especially the fatty one before years ago and I thought it was a fever dream until now. I found a bunch of videos on old long lost discontinued animatronics or something like that and came along this farting fatty animatronic and then I saw a bunch of these other vile props as well with it. I want to know where these INCREDIBLY VILE props originate from given there heck of a novelty concept.
