We're building a haunted cult theme this year for our annual charity haunted house. We might have been a little ambiiwith the build this year, lol. The tower facade will be on the exterior and then the guests will walk inside the building where the interior sections are built.
It's relapse day again. Yay!
She says the right things, meets weekly with an addictions counselor, and when she's sober she's very open and frank about her struggles. She hates it and admits that she is constantly thinking about drinking and has to fight it daily.
But it's not enough, she manages to stay sober for about a week or two at a time and then gets blackout drunk. She has the nerve to deny it (when she's drunk) even when it's super obvious and somehow I'm always the asshole for having a completely normal reaction to her bullshit.
We have kids so leaving isn't as straightforward as it would be otherwise.
Just venting I guess. Sometimes I really want to come up with the most hurtful thing I can possibly say to her, but it isn't her I hate, it's the drunk that she becomes.
I think I'll be moving into the spare room (again) until she can be better.
