Just finished watching my third time through! I think I cried and laughed more this time than the other two times before, but I also developed a strong dislike for Darryl. There are a few characters I dislike, but he is easily my number one. It’s not even that he can be a jerk or whiny at times. I just find him boring. I can’t think of a single scene with him that made me laugh or feel anything beyond annoyance. The scene where he gets drunk and crashes on the table? More annoying than funny to me. Him constantly complaining about not getting a better job while putting almost no effort into actually pursuing one? Also annoying.

Everything felt so flat; same tone, same expression, very little emotion or energy. As the show went on, it felt like he got more and more screen time while bringing less and less to the show. I just wanted to get past any scene with him in it because I knew it would be lame.

We will see on a fourth time watching because I remember disliking Creed and Meredith and this time they were both some of my favorites.
