How much would y'all pay for this?
I am in need of a box truck with enough power to operate the AC 24/7 in Florida because of my cat. This is the only one I've seen so far that can accommodate, but I'm curious to know if it's actually a good deal or not and where I stand negotiating wise.
Decided I'm buying a pre-converted van and welcome general vanlife advice
Hey everyone! Long time lurker and finally decided I'm gonna buy a van. I've grappled with the idea of building one out for a while, but I just know myself too well and know that I will give up on the build 10% in.
My lease ends in January so my plan is to buy a van from vanlifetrader (unless y'all have other suggestions) in November to give myself enough time and set things up. I plan on financing through their platform and I'm thinking of spending $40k total.
Some considerations:
I have a cat that I'll be bringing with me on this journey so I'll need to figure out a solution for the AC. I live in Florida so it gets extremely hot.
My job is hyrid. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, so that gives me the option to be somewhere over the weekend. On the days in office, I imagine they'll let me park in the parking lot overnight.
I'm 25f so security is a concern I've had.
I'm just looking for general advice or specific advice. I've never done this before so anything helps!
Attempting to make a power efficient homlab and need input
Originally I was looking at the ugreen 6800 plus cause it's on sale, but in an effort to save some money, I figured I'd try making my own.
I made a part list here, and my goal was trying to be as power efficient as possible.
I'll be doing transcoding on 1-3 video streams and might host a Minecraft server or 2.
Any advice on whether to just go with the ugreen or how I can update my part picker list is welcome :)
