I have sm64 machinima yt channel and i heard that Parallel Launcher is better than PJ64 which I am using. I am thinking about changing the emulators.

OTHER than retroarch since it doesnt work for me it crashes

Is it good?

I’m building three PCs to run bigbox. Going to have one of the three with a shared roms directory. We’re going to see how many games we can get working with multiplayer over the LAN. Anyone have any luck with this?

I’ve got the first box done. Will have the second one done early this week. I’ll report back as to how it goes.

Last night I was playing Tomodachi Living The Dream, untill my PC sudenly crashed after 2 hours of game, the screen turned black, but I still could see the cursor and I had to forcibly turn off my PC then turn it on again. I might need to add, there were other times when the game suddenly closed or stopped working, I didn't do anything about before because it always happens after a few hours of playing and didn't seem so serious as what happened yesterday.

Yes I know, you're probably sick and tired of seeing emulator beginners ask this question time and time again, but I haven't used an android emulator on PC for like 7-8 years so I am completely lost as to what emulator to use.

I have searched far and wide and I keep hearing contradicting statements on all kinds of emulators, some say its the best emulator ever, some say its packed to the brim with malware.

So basically I was wondering if any experts here have any sort of advice on what android emulator to use at the moment, doesn't matter if its free or paid (I doubt paid android emulators exist but they seem like they'd be way more trustworthy), I just really want to do some fun emulating again, cheers!

Edit: By safe I mean not packed with anything malicious, my data is public news by now anyways

I am using Rosalie's Mupen Gui emulating Mario Kart 64. I can see menu and characters just fine with no issues, but when I try to race, I can't see the map, other characters, or the little ghost. The hardware is as old as the n64 itself, but that shouldn't be the issue, at least I don't think so. It's an old Nvidia GPU and an old AMD CPU. Running Linux Mint OS.

Tldr; I'm going abroad and would like to be able to continue my emulated Tomodachi life save from my home pc whilst there. Unfortunately all help I can find seems to imply that the file can only be synced whilst the devices are in vicinity of eachother, but I don't see it being said outright.

Would this mean that I would be unable to do this? I'm an absolute novice so any help would really be appreciated.

I heard that yuzu and ryujinx isn't available right now. Which switch emulator should i use? Which one is best and why? I wanna play Nintendo titles such as Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Pokemon...(on my pc)

After i download it, could something happen over the course of the months or years that I’ll be using it? Or i need to pay attention only to the download?

I've been playing gta 5 on rspc3 and when I upscale the resolution to 300%, making it 4k, it causes annoying white dots on dark surfaces, it does this on any high resolution. I know it isn't really designed for higher resolution, but it seems to be working for some other people and I would like to play with 4k as well. Any fix for this?

Hey Im thinking of using Bluestacks to emulate Tomodachi Life- but am worried about it messing with my new laptop. Im college student, and this is my only laptop, and it was a gift, and I can't really afford a new one. I've used Bluestacks before during COVID for Among Us, but I haven't used it since. Whats everyones exeprince using Bluestacks?

I'm having issues with the game where the framerate would go up and down during gameplay and in-game cutscenes. I don't have this problem with FMVs and I tried to lower the resolution of the game but no dice. Same with changing graphics renderers.

Hey I want to play all the 3ds Zelda remakes and 3DS pokemon games upscaled with my girlfriend on the TV. I was looking for the best and most convenient method of doing that. I don’t really have a budget, I’ll spend what’s necessary for an ideal and comfortable setup, but ideally if I don’t have to spend too much, that would be great.

I'm trying to run Colecovision Roms via Retrobat on my PC and have 2 questions:

1. When trying to load a rom, I always get this message: "Warning: The system has missing BIOS files and the game may not run correctly. Do you want to continue? (Yes/No)"

2. If I say "Yes", I get the standard Colecovision Game Start Menu screen (1-8 choices), but choosing a number on the PC's keyboard does nothing.

Can anyone help me out with this? What's the name of that missing BIOS file and, once found, where do I put it?

I know that the roms are good, since they're playable on my Atari Gamestation Go.
