Do you think RE: Veronica can reach the same level of RE2?
Resident Evil 2 remake is probably my favourite RE game of all time and, since it's release, I've been wishing for a Code Veronica remake. Since the developers have said the game will take a similar approach to RE2 in terms of style and gameplay, I was wondering: do you think RE: Veronica has the potential of reaching the same quality of RE2?
What will the younger Chris look like in the new Veronica
This time we are going back time, since Chris‘s new realistic model is less established than other characters what will he look like? Will he get the Re2remake pretty boy treatment?
RE7 is some quasi mix of classic chris and what ever capcom thinks he should look like now.
Interesting to see what 98’ Chris will look like in the new engine
re origins is so important to the story of resident evil
My goal lately was to play all of the main resident evil games from 0 to 9, I am currently going trough re5 and I noticed how important re1's (also re0 but mainly 1) lore is to the story and it kinda pmo that ppl don't really give these games the regard they deserve. (especially when playing the remakes) I noticed that there is SO much references to these two games. Ppl who didn't play the first games are missing out so much
Anyways, live laugh love re1&0
My Las Plagas tattoo!
my favorite game all time and the first game i finished by myself when i was younger!!! so so many goof memories
Code Veronica already felt more like a Metal Gear than a Resident Evil, but that Alexia bossfight just seals it
The long cutscene intro, the pyrokinesis, the soundtrack. All that's missing are Chris and Wesker being shirtless and all three of them being a hundred feet off the ground.
I don't think we appreciate how fucking metal the name "super tyrant" is
So, like… this would probably have bigger implications in a Veronica Remake than it did when the original was written, right?
To the best of my knowledge, by this point in time, Leon:
•Was apprehended by the US Government
•Was disposed of as a loose end
•Ended up coerced into the joining a secret program at the behest of the President as part of a deal in order to protect Sherry, who he has no real idea of how she’s doing and won’t meet until RE6.
•Had started his RE4 glowup training montage.
•Happened to be the first person Claire thought to, and managed to, get in contact with when she was held by umbrella… somehow.
•Then proceeds to hunt down Chris, who he meets for the first time, and apprise him of the situation.
All of which had happened in an alarmingly short timeframe.
Obviously, CV is about the Redfields, and originally this was just supposed to be a fun little cameo. But in hindsight, canonically, when treated seriously, that kind of seems like some pretty rough drama-fodder-type shit.
Jessica Sherawat
I wish she would be a villain in a future game or even games. Even though she was beyond annoying in Revelations she was still interesting. I hope she would meet Claire, Jill and Chris and be a recurring villain for at least couple of games. Would like to know more about her agenda and what it is she wants.
What are your thoughts?
Playing RE2 OG for the first time
Started playing RE2 after getting it on a sale and entering the save room beneath the stairs and got shivers hearing the theme music for the first time. Can't imagine playing this in 1998 and hearing that masterpiece for the first time.
Okay so I've been replaying re2 remake after a few years...
So I present to you two thing first a big question "how did he get up there" and second "this girl hair is defying gravity"
Want to play the whole series. What order?
So I have played most of resident evil 1 remake, resident evil 2 remake twice with Claire and Leon, and just finished resident evil 3 remake (honestly better than what they say, but I got it for 5 bucks also). I'm torn between playing resident evil 7 and Village next, or keep going with the series order. On one hand, I know that the main focus of these games is not the story, but I would like to understand what's there and enjoy the most of the story and references. After finishing RE3 remake, I was thinking about taking a break from the third person action and give the characters a resr, and do RE7 and Village, and come back to RE4 remake and play or watch a story recap of 5 and 6 and jump straight to Requiem, but I don't know what would make most sense or would be more fun.
TLDNR: just played RE 1,2 and 3 remakes, don't know if I can play RE7 and VIllage (to take a break in gameplay style and let characters and story rest) and then continue with 4 remake and play or watch story recap of 5 and 6 and play requiem last, or play the series chronologically.
Whyyyyyyyy Capcom Whyyyyyy (ToT)(ToT)(ToT)(ToT)
she did everything right, she deserve a better ending (ToT)
How did people escape Raccoon city?
Were some people climbing over cars or jumping on building roofs or something???
