Why does Taco Bell have no real competition?

I know there's Del Taco, but they have way less locations, some might argue Chipotle but they're a completely different business model. Contrast them with say McDonalds, they have to deal with Burger King, Jack N the Box, Carls/Hardys, Wendys, etc. Dominos, Little Ceasars, Pizza Hut, and Papa Johns all have to compete with each other in the pizza market. KFC, Popeyes, Raising Cane's have their chicken wars. But Taco Bell? They're pretty much by themselves.

Do you like "In Camelot"?

I was surprised to find out a lot of fans dislike this one, I dunno why, I like that Tony sort of found someone close to a mother figure that didn't wanna smother him and the car chase with Phil was pretty funny.

Has anyone else had a bad experience with the Taco Bell across Ventura High School?

Last time I was there I swear I must have waited like 10 minutes in the drive thru, I might as well have gone to a real Mexican restaurant if I have to wait that long. That wasn't the first time either, I remember going there before and waiting like 10 minutes in the drive thru, awful service.

Is Cotton an actual name?

Up until KOTH, I had never heard anyone named "Cotton" so I just assumed that was his nickname, but from what I can tell that is his actual birth certificate name. Maybe that was a more common name in 1930s Texas?

Can someone explain to me exactly how the mobsters make money off garbage truck routes?

I know this is a thing in the mob, but I've never fully understood it, do they just skim off whatever the garbage companies make? And why is garbage in particular? What makes it so special compared to other businesses they could skim off of?

Did anyone think it was weird Carmela's dad admired Tony so much?

I'm sure he was very much aware of his "lifestyle" but yet he still treated Tony with the upmost respect like he was some sort of outstanding, honorable human being, I always thought it was kinda odd.

Did anyone think it was really weird and annoying you can't swim?

Deacon is supposed to be this bad ass Afghan vet and he seriously can't swim? Didn't Deacon even tell a story when he was in Afghanistan about how he had to swim in a river to save someone? Talk about ludonarrative dissonance LOL.

So how long was Puss an informant?

In season 2, "Skip says you've been on our tit since 98" and in the boat scene Puss confesses he was an informant for a year and a half or so, the episode came out in 2000, so that would be about 1998 as well. But then in the flashback it was revealed he was an informant since 1995? Or was Tony just suspecting that's when he flipped?

Were you surprised when you found out Mac Demarco was Canadian?

His chill, laid back style gave the impression he was some stoner surfer from California, or at the very least Oregon or Washington

When Bobby does his "What are you talking about?" bit, what exactly is he referencing?

Is he referencing some stand up or comedy sketch? I feel like he's doing a Jackie Mason impersonation but I'm not sure.

Let's say Jackie Jr and his friends did successfully rob the card game and no one got killed or shot

What would have happened next? I don't see any scenario where Jackie gets "respect" and gets made or anything like that. At best maybe he wouldn't get his ass kicked and just gets a warning.

Why didn't Richie let Dave play at his games after he was short on paying him?

When Richie went to collect Dave was two hundred dollars short, so he warned Dave not to go to any of his games, but why did he do that? If Dave went and continued losing Richie could squeeze him even more with interest and make more money that way and maybe even do a bust out like Tony did. Is there something I'm missing?

How do you think Tony would fare in prison?

According to Phil, he's never done any serious time, maybe a few months in county at most. Put him in an actual prison for several years and he's a fish out of water. John Gotti actually had to hire the Aryan Brotherhood for protection after getting assaulted, so I dunno if Tony would fare any better. Despite what that show Oz portrayed, there aren't any "Italian gangs" in prison for Tony to join.

Why was Puss committing violent crimes in season 1?

He was an informant but still committing violent crimes (robbing the Columbians, point a gun at those two gay guys and making them steal a car), Agent Skip would NEVER let him get away with that. I'm guessing Chase jut decided not to make an informant till after finishing season 1?

I wish Janice pursued her Christian rock career more

So much nonstop comedy we could have had, maybe Chase was planning on showing more but scrapped it.

Would the feds be allowed to bug Vesuvio?

Surprised they didn't since Tony ate there regularly, unlike the Bada Bing (had to be swept regularly for bugs). Maybe that was one of the reasons Tony didn't take it over when Artie owed him money, one of the few places he could relax and not worry about the FBI spying on him.

I wonder how Vito even approached the security guard he blew in the first place

That must have been such a weird conversation lol, suprised the security even agreed to it, you'd think he knew who Vito was and to best just stay away

What were all the businesses Buck owned?

If I remember correctly he said he had five branches of Strickland Propane and also owned Sugarfoots. Sounded like he might have dabbled in the music industry a bit too (that one woman he was gonna take to a recording studio). Anything else?
