Vintage 1999 South Park Eric Cartman

Hello,

I recently bought this plush from someone, and I was wondering if you could help me verify whether it's the Vintage 1999 South Park Eric Cartman 16-inch Plush with Weighted Feet.

I paid about $12 USD, including delivery, so I'm curious if I got a really good deal or if that's just the normal market price for this plush.

Thanks in advance!

Chefs dad is always telling stories of the lock Ness monster asking him for tree fiddy. We never saw the monster in the imagination land episode! That means he's stories are true!!

Weird Stanley's Cup Coincidence

S10E14 Stanley's Cup is one of the most divisive South Park episodes. It's a rare example of Matt and Trey taking dark humor too far. If it wasn't for the elephant in the room, it would be a really funny episode that's a classic example of putting Stan in a story he's completely disinterested in, reminiscent of episodes like Towelie and Asspen, with the latter being one of my favorite episodes in the series. In Stanley's Cup, Stan is forced to coach a Pee-Wee Hockey Team. However, the episode goes too far with its dark humor because Stan has to lead the team to victory or else a child on the team named Nelson will die of cancer. Instead of being a motivational story, though, where Stan wins and Nelson lives at the end, Stan's team loses and Nelson dies of cancer. The problem is that nobody really finds it funny seeing a depressed little kid die of cancer.

However, I have a bizarre personal connection to this episode. First of all, the episode released on November 14, 2006, exactly 10 days before the day I was born on November 24, 2006. Also, my last name is Nelson, the same as the first name of the kid who died in the episode. Finally, I also had a tumor at a young age (12 years old). Thankfully, though, mine was not cancer.

I agree with Stan wanting his money back for The Passion, but..

Gibson and the ticket guy were both right -they sat through the entire movie. They could have left at any time during the beginning, which was likely just as appallingly bad as the rest of the film, yet they didn’t. They sat there for two hours and never once thought to leave. While the movie sucked and they had every right to be angry over that, they had absolutely no leg to stand on when it came to desiring a refund. Not only that, but they took the money from Gibson - who was in a fragile mental state - without his consent. They had the right to complain about the film, they had the right to feel ripped off, but sitting through the entire thing was their dumb choice and they would have probably got the refund they were entitled to if they’d just left much sooner.

I know this is part of the joke, but it does make me wonder where they got off on claiming they’d been ripped off by not getting a refund when their own actions prevented it.
