Yeah sure it's not the best for mental health but several high profile prisoners have spent years in solitary. Introverted people with several interests for example would be least impacted.

The solitary cell in Oz isn't even as bad as some others. I believe most prisons the solitary cells do not have showers like in Oz for example and it appears prisoners stay in the same cell as opposed to monthly rotation in real life.

This has been probably said before but I hate how Ryan never got any actual real revenge on Shillinger. Ik people do say “well he had him kill his son” but in reality Ryan was only involved in that whole stunt for like 0.1% of it. The son was already hooked on drugs and if we’re being fr Shillinger directly and indirectly killed his son. Shillinger wasn’t very sad over it so I wouldn’t even really call it revenge either just another one of the big missed potential parts in Oz. Something big happenes to someone then they just forget about it a day later or resolve the issue in 10 minutes in a very bullshit way, like Ryan wanting revenge on Shillinger for assaulting his brother but what do yall think?

S4, Ep 14 we actually get the reveal of John Basil's Sentence for murder when he finally sees his wife and says he can't come home for at least 3 years. Likely meaning whatever sentence he got allowed for 4 year parole. Obvious police favoritism but I guess he's officially charged with voluntary manslaughter?

Also same episode the guy who attempted to murder Ketchum gets a whopping 28 years with parole in 14 which is more than a lot or even most 2nd degree actual murder on the show. Whacky episode as the skinhead trying to kill Said somehow got a full blown Rambo knife and all Clayton has to do is shoehorn a regular door to go nuts in a 3 inmate unit (high comedy btw).

Easily the worst season and NOT because of the aging pill because that was honestly not crazy as it's just a stand in for a pharmaceutical slow acting poison.

The biggest problems in 4B is realism just disappears completely. But 4-14 is freaking wiiiiiild. Might be my most entertaining episode of combined 4 to be honest. Never a dull moment for sure.

Rules are keep Emerald City Clean,You are to Exercise Regularly,Attend Classes,Go to Drug and Alcohol Counseling,No Yelling,No Fighting,No Fucking,Learn Self Discipline

Emerald City is really like another Cell Block except one special Thing You can wear Other Clothes except your Prison Outfits

Yeah....Very Unusual for a Prison except Emerald City is like any other Cell Block and Obviously you know about McManus and Especially Warden Glynn.

The Rules are also No Raping and No Dressing other Prisoners like a Female,Also there are 14 Female Inmates in one of the Cell Blocks and like any other Prison you have to wear your Prison Outfits
