Store just lost A LOT of employees

My manager asked me last night if I still had a hard Max of 20hrs a week. I told her no but I’m starting school in September so any shifts would have to follow the schedule. She said that she was glad and followed it up by saying that 9 employees got new jobs! My last job had 9 people excluding me who worked there. I am just so shocked at how many people work at these stores considering how few people ever close

W Boyfriend

Love my man so much 🙏😭 He went to Dollarama while I was at work, I asked him to look for the Hello Kitty trays and he told me he couldn’t find them 😭 BUT look what he surprised me with when I got home, I’m screaming. As a 4/20 Hello Kitty lover, this tray is about to get MUCH use 🙏

Appyhere is asking for SIN and banking information.

I have recently applied for a job with Dollarama on Appyhere, I got accepted however the app is now asking for a lot of personal information and my SIN and banking information. Has anyone else had to give them this information or am I being scammed?

I went to grab two things....

There is a lot of cute stationary, especially with back to school. Did I need it? No. Is it cute? Yes.

I love the smell of this perfume. I definetly wanna stock up before it runs out. I got the black one before and it is a good dupe for some of the expensive Arab perfumes. The store had red, white (I bought), and green. I think the green and black are similar, but the green one is more earthy. I recommend the green one for fall for people who like those scents. The white one is very floral. I could not smell the red or pink ones. Lowkey thinking of buying them all, so I would appreciate reviews!

The coffee candle looks and smells good!

Loved the kid books.

I do not recommend the markers.

Same products at shoppers but price doubled?

I know shoppers is infamously overpriced but I was wondering if anyone had noticed products that they got at dollarama not being stocked anymore, and then seeing them at shoppers for more.

This also stood out to me because the shoppers and dollarama near me are right beside each other.

(Pictured: my fav sunscreen that I got for 3.50 at dollarama , priced at 8 at shoppers 😞)

Deez Nuts…

Are fantastic! I haven’t had one that tasted oily and they are beautifully roasted. The quality is surprisingly good. Don’t sleep on these. $2.50 per bag.

More than 2yrs as a dollarama employee and used to be a team leader. I'm just bored so i just thought of maybe answering your curiosity about dollarama.
