Any information about pakUI?
I've always been a fan of pakui, I tried nextUi and I don't know why but I like it a lot more pakui, I saw that the developer said he will be ready soon, so someone has an info?

My brick is about to arrive and I’m preparing my sd card to be able to plug and play when it does. What are the most recommended OS nowadays? Knulli? NextUI? Onion?
I’m mostly looking for something rather minimalistic that autosaves on exit for quick games. Plus points if it can auto scrape artwork and screenshots. I have crossmix in my smart pro but wanted something minimal for the brick…
Hello everyone,
I'm having issues with my Anbernic RG34XXSP and I am considering replacing it with a Brick Hammer as my EDC.
I just had a couple of questions.
I've read from some reports online that the WiFi on the brick is very bad. I was wondering if people could shed some light on the current state/just how bad it is. Unfortunately, I need WiFi to work reliably as I rely on Syncthing to sync saves between my EDC and my Odin, and also for retroachievements.
How long have people here owned the hammer? And how well has it stood up to an EDC lifestyle. Especially with it not being a clamshell, and the screen and buttons being exposed constantly. Particularly interested to hear from other women who keep it in their handbags instead of pockets.
how's the battery life for you? On my Anbernic I have mainly found myself playing GBA and SNES
I've heard that the shoulder buttons on the original brick feel a bit wobbly, and apparently the metal construction of the hammer has fixed that. Is that true?
Many thanks.
I bought a Brick Pro off of Amazon a few weeks ago. A few days ago the screen stuttered and went black. I tried every suggestion on Google. the sound could still work, but the screen was dead. loading a new OS did not work.
So I’ve started the return process with Amazon. This was my first handheld in a decade and while I had fun, I’m not sure this was worth the hassle. Before I get another, is this a common occurrence?
I’ve haven’t had any luck with Portmaster on my Trimui with NextUI. I tried back in May and just gave up.
has anyone been able to run any games?
What version can i download that works on the TB Pro version. Knulli Scarab for normal Trimui Brick?
Thanks for the help
As the title suggests how do I setup dreamcast on my brick. Is it tough or easy?I really want to try and see if i can play phantasy star online.
Also will downloading the emulator from pakstore also download the bios files or do i need ro diwnload them from somewhere else.
definitely looks monsterous next to Brick. I have a thing for Sliver devices and gold accents. I’m gonna have to redo the decal on the RG SP, got a dust bubble somehow and it’s a bit crooked.
I have the TrimUI Brick and a Hammer. When playing GBA games using the mGBA core on NextUI, the audio is terrible on both consoles. I'm not referring to the bad, compressed GBA audio, but rather a static / white noise sound with distortion. I don't have this issue on any other device that emulates GBA with mGBA. The same issue happens with headphones, so it's not the speakers themselves. Also, this only happens with GBA games, no other systems have this issue.
Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution? It makes GBA games unplayable for me.
The first Unity 6 game running on GLES2 is now available for testing: Stranger Things 3: The Game.
This release represents a major step forward in the development of the new framework. The goal is to create an increasingly stable compatibility layer that allows newer Unity games to run on older and limited hardware.
For now, initial testing of this new system is being conducted exclusively on Discord.
The goal is to collect as much information as possible before a wider release: different devices, firmware, GPUs, controls, performance, audio, rendering, and potential crashes.
The more data we collect now, the more stable and compatible the framework will become.
The Discord link is available on my Reddit profile.
The potential here is huge.
If the system continues evolving as expected, it could open the door to porting games that were previously considered almost unimaginable on these devices.
Running Unity 6 on old hardware using GLES2 significantly changes what we can consider possible going forward.
And this is only the beginning.
The current controller configuration follows the Xbox layout.
The controls should work normally. However, depending on the device, the buttons displayed visually by the game may not exactly match the physical buttons on your device.
This is only a visual layout difference and does not mean that the controls are broken.
If you encounter an actual control issue, please report:
The framework does not modify or recode the original game files.
All compatibility is handled through the new custom runtime/shim layer developed to make execution possible on these devices.
Stranger Things 3: The Game — Unity 6 + GLES2
Testing has begun. The goal now is to fix every issue we find, stabilize the framework, and discover just how far we can push this system.
Has anyone tried this firmware?

Hi, I have KNULLI installed on my Integral SD card, and I’m having a strange issue that happens every time I cold boot the device.
If I factory reset the device, everything works perfectly. The games launch normally, the front-end works, and my custom front-end music plays correctly. I’m using custom music in .ogg format.
However, after I completely shut the device down and then cold boot it again, KNULLI loads normally and the menus appear to work, but the front-end music stops playing. More importantly, when I select a game, the game will no longer launch. The games are still visible, but clicking on them does nothing or they fail to start.
The only way I can get everything working again is to perform another factory reset. Once I do that, everything works perfectly again until I perform another cold boot, at which point the exact same problem comes back.
I have not intentionally changed any system settings between the factory reset and the cold boot. This makes me think something is happening during the boot process that is affecting either the front-end, the audio configuration, the emulator configuration, the filesystem, or the permissions/mounting of the SD card.
One other important detail is that my SHARE partition is formatted as exFAT. I specifically use exFAT because I want to be able to remove the SD card, put it directly into an SD card reader, and access the SHARE partition from a Windows PC without needing any additional software.
Could you please help me work out what is causing this? Ideally, I want to keep the SHARE partition as exFAT so I can continue managing my ROMs, saves, BIOS files and other files directly from Windows.
The main symptoms are:
So I’m trying to find out why the system is breaking specifically after a cold boot, rather than immediately after the factory reset.
My setup is a TrimUI Smart Pro S with KNULLI installed, using an Integral SD card, with the SHARE partition formatted as exFAT for direct Windows access.
Hello gamers,
Running GammaOS v1.41 Nano and loaded gen1Recomp apk version and loaded ROMs and Mod. It works great. Happy gaming.
I have been using nextui for the past couple of months now with my brick, but recently I have been experiencing a lot of issues with WiFi and other stuff so was wondering what your opinion on other cfw like gamma os nano or nxredux
TubeExplorer is a multi- media player for YouTube and live tv works great on Trimui brick pro
So I upgraded from my R36S to a TrimUI Smart Pro, mainly for better performance and screen quality. On the R36S I had a bunch of PortMaster titles running solid: GTA San Andreas, CS 1.6, a few others, no real issues.
Now I've got CrossMix OS installed on the Smart Pro and I'm trying to get the same games running, and honestly most of them just don't work. Some don't launch at all, some crash on boot.
Is this a CrossMix OS limitation, or is PortMaster itself just less mature on this device?
Is there a better OS for PortMaster compatibility on the Smart Pro (ArkOS? muOS? something else)?
Any known workaround for getting ports to actually show up/launch properly?
Would really appreciate any pointers from people who've been through this already instead of me reinventing the wheel port by port. Thanks in advance 🙏
On the regular Brick you can set an Fn key to toggle the D-pad-as-analog-stick thing, which is genuinely useful. But the Brick Pro already has real sticks, so the Fn keys only get three assignable shortcuts and none of them are any use to me. Felt like a waste of two perfectly good lit-up buttons.
So I made a small mod that lets you use F1 and F2 as RetroArch hotkeys instead — fast-forward, save state, whatever you want to bind them to. Nothing else changes, and the installer doubles as the uninstaller.
