Working on a coffin prop for this season!

Going to make this an animated coffin opener with green LED’s, chains on the outside and have 2 skeletons carrying it to drop it in the hole in the ground I’m going to dig.

First find of spooky season 2026!

Got this cool guy at Michael’s (with a coupon ofc, their full prices are wild). I love the little bat wings on the lever in the back!

Code Orange at Marshalls

I didn't check all the prices but the dog with the pumpkin was about $12.99 and the large ghost pumpkin, I believe was $29.99. Some items were around 14.99.

What is this called? And is it worth doing

So we all know what a haunted house is . But let's say for my neighborhood I set up a tent of some kind . There's a short entrance and exit . And when you walk in it there's creepy stuff and dolls and all that but then there a mixture of actual real people that are in costumes waiting to jump out and scare you . What do you call that so I can advertise it ? Does anybody know.

A small 3D printing win this weekend, Vampire teeth bowl!

A quick amendment to my last post, THIS is my final update until I finish the rest of my decor :) My cousin and I absolutely love the Hallmark vampire teeth bowl, but not the price it’s being listed at (200+ 💀). I was able to whip up something on meshmixer and print one out in her requested color!

I have been battling my printer as of late, so getting this to work has given me the vote of confidence needed for my longer prints of my mini blow molds. Fingers crossed 🤞

A bit of a display / walkthrough I'm working on for this upcoming season.

This is my first time attempting anything like this. I just recently got into creating horror based art and thought to use some of those skills to see what I could come up with.

Code orange at @Home

No prices on them, yet (I didn’t check the website) and almost no other Halloween stuff out at my closest location, but it’s coming!

Suggestions for movies that are either set on Halloween or heavily involve Halloween in their theme?

I know there's tons of great horror/spooky movies to watch as this season kicks off but I'm looking for recommendations for any movies that are either *set on Halloween* or *heavily involve Halloween in their theme*. I.e. fun size, trick ‘r treat, tales of Halloween, Halloweentown, nightmare before Christmas, Halloween, etc.

Updated Halloween Watchlist

Hi there - for those that may remember, I did a super long Halloween Watchlist last year (OG post linked here). This was all done with the help of this amazing community, and I wanna get a head start on my list this year!

Started jotting down some movies to the back of my full guide - let me know what I should add! I’m also open to creating a new category if you have any suggestions 🎃🗡️

Easy Pillowcase Ghostie, Kid-Friendly

Taped a small inflated balloon to the top of a mason jar which was wrapped in plastic (helps avoid sticking issues later). Cut 12" square from an old pillowcase. Mixed a 4oz bottle of white school glue with equal part water, mixy mixy. A plastic fork makes a better blender than a spoon. 😉

Soaked cloth in solution til saturated, squeezed out excess. Draped center of material over balloon "head" and arranged corners of material to form corner points for standing stability once dry.

Let dry completely; we used a fan on low, took about 3 hours to dry stiffly. Pop balloon from inside and remove ghostie from jar. Applied black eyes cut from old t-shirt and added lil blue bow with fast-drying craft glue.

Add battery tea light.. and yay! 👻🩵
