I have a theory as to why the kid version of Jason in part eight gradually changes appearance

I’ve thought about it and honestly in my mind this makes sense. What if the the main girl that sees kid Jason doesn’t know that it’s actually Jason and overtime she starts to believe it’s kid Jason which leads to him looking more and more deformed, now I know it doesn’t make a lot of sense for certain other scenes but if you take away from that, it kind of makes sense yet again this is just my own personal head cannon
