DOOM Crossing Cosplay.
I already posted photos of my costume earlier. And just the other day I received photos from a joint photoshoot with Elizabeth from Animal Crossing. I think this is the best crossover :D

Every weapon mastered and every melee weapon mastered.
Doom (2005) OR Doom: Annihilation (2019)
TLDR;
doom eternal is devil may cry
doom the dark ages is god of war
revelations is the lovechild of both
the dark ages was very close to matching eternal and i think each individual demon is, on average, more complex than eternal's demons but eternal has more complex combat as a whole
then comes revelations and the chain spear and it breaks open that final door. the combat flow changed significantly allowing the player to feel powerful up close and far away; something that eternal didn't have much of. stick around a demon for too long and you will be forced to move out of the way if not restart the entire encounter
i wanna touch on a few points and directly compare them to eternal. just for the sake of comparison. no shade or anything, i adore both of these games
meathook. i would say these two are even. the meathook in eternal was more precise but was only on one gun. the meathook in revelations is more floaty and slower but you now have your entire arsenal to use with it. in eternal, the meathook was used for 2 primary purposes. launching yourself and blasting something in the face. those two are still here in revelations but with the ability to use ANY gun, it opens up so many other strategies. and that's not even mentioning the lock on ability which is fucking incredible once you get the hang of it
the dash. i think revelations dash is a little better. not much to say here but revelations allows you to use 1 charge after consuming 2 whereas eternal makes you wait for both to recharge. very small point but it is worth mentioning. also, i could be wrong but i swear revelations' dash gives a tiny upward boost and eternals is directly forward
aerial combat. this one is tough but i think that revelations should take the win due to the existence of the shield. you can easily bounce between ground and aerial combat so quickly using the shield or spear in either scenario. fly up with the meathook, blast a cacodemon, slam with the spear, swap to shield and bash a group, melee a hell knight, fly back up with the meathook, dash between it's wall attacks, shield bash, throw the shield to stun the cacodemon, 2 melee strikes, shield bash, meathook, dash, stab, shield bash, dash, super shotgun to the face, shield bash back to the ground. etc. etc im just spitballing to give a visual
i just fucking love id software and if i were rich i'd buy the shit out of them. cheers to being treated so well by these folks. and microsoft: eat shit
Got this tattoo in 2021 after beating Eternal on Nightmare. To this day “to me” one of the harder things I’ve ever done. And rightfully earned it’s place next to OG CE Halo

I have a question about the layout of hell, hopefully someone can help clarify and clear things up for me.
So hell is often referred to as a realm, organized by circles/layers. I’ve been trying to piece together from Codex entries how the layout of hell would look, but the more I look, the more questions I have. Here’s an example.
So in Revelations, a cutscene briefly shows an Orrery of what I assume is the inner circles of hell (it says as much since the title card says the slayers ship is operating near the sixth inner circle, and the little white blip within the red sphere is the slayers ship).
This made me think, maybe Hell functions like a solar system with the circles being the trajectory of nine outer worlds gravitating towards one singular one, and the High Council oversees the Inner six circles.
That made sense to me considering each ate are a judge of a specific time of day that creates a full cycle.
Halls of Torment, First of the Six
Zaruthiel the Old Father, Judge of Dawn
The Sundered Mountain, Second of the Six
Karnoth the Armorer, Judge of Morning
The Glittering Spire, Third of the Six
Gahrzeth the Treacherous, Judge of Noon
The Curtained Brothel, Fourth of the Six
Iskathra
The Sunken Priory, Fifth of the Six
Thalrasha; the Last Queen of Jekkad, Judge of Evening
Death, Sixth of the Six
Ozalith the Old Mother, Judge of Midnight
It made sense to me considering the display only shows 5 total worlds, with the sixth one missing since Ozalith has no palace.
That’s when I noticed the runes within each of the worlds displayed and thought that maybe the runes would correspond to a member of the high council, maybe the inner circle of hell they individually oversee?
The high council has unique runes that we briefly see in the henchman cutscene.
But when I tried matching the runes to any of the high councils runes, none were a match.
Instead, I found unexpected corresponding runes.
The Sixth Inner Circle Rune is a match for the in flight mobility rune from 2016. Not sure what this means, but that’s why I’m asking.
So, I wanted to try and find out where each of the individual locations mentioned in the Codex are located, what part of hell they are found in, and which of the six reside over it.
So please feel free to correct anything I get wrong, I want to know how to make sense of all this, and hopefully the info I provided is somewhat helpful.

The Myth of The Praetor states that the burning hatred of The Archenemy stems from the death of his rabbit, a mistake The Ruinous Powers of Hell had made, turning their invasion of Earth into a personal matter for the one man that stood in their way.
Swap opponents, raise hell.
Hope you like, I made with gmod, photoshop, vecteezy, oilpaint filtering & lightroom. Models belong to their respective games, I just posed them.
Original unedited & pre-lighting version included!
To my knowledge, I can play the game without an internet connection. But can i use its DLC offline too? (Specifically on Steam)
Im asking because in Wolfenstein: Youngblood, I found out the hard way that you cant access DLC skins without an internet connection/bethesda account. And like Doom Eternal, it requires a Bethesda account to play (except when youre offline)
Thank you everyone who replies! I appreciate yall :)
Timed challenges were by far the most stressful experience out of all endgame content. With reduced damage to demons the only hope to get gold rating was BFC ammo.
I think there is enough features and the bugs are reasonably not so bad that I decided to publish my sourceport.
Please share any problems you encounter (there will be for sure). The windows build was not actually built on windows, because I don't have a windows machine available, but should run "fine".
