I was recently rewatching Joey's old drumcams from disasterpieces and noticed those videos were released like 20 or 19 years ago. Most of the comments you see there now are mostly praising and celebrating joey jordison, however.. I decided to go to a website that lets you sort out comments by oldest first.
And holy shit, it was like opening up a moldy lunch box that was left to rot for 2 decades.
You will never see comments like this nowadays or hell even in the past 10 years. You tend to forget how unfiltered people were with their opinions and how douchy they can be.
What are y'alls thoughts seeing this?
Idk why but the default outfits for the ai in this game just dont work for me, they're all too... bland IMHO. I much prefer their looks in hardcore mode over their "default" outfits
while the rest of the Iowa album makes me want to cut someone's chest open and reach in and squeeze their heart until it stops, that last part with the "I know why you blame me" in My Plague has me shedding tears and i cant really place my finger on why.
Mountains of Madness (Dead space 3) and Waning light of hope (Silent Hill 2 Remake)
Doom slayer(at least during Eternal) could be considered a cosmic horror himself among the likes of lovecrafts outer gods(or maybe just great old ones)
-His rage and insanity are completely incomprehensible to us. It goes far.. FAR beyond "Demons killed my rabbit and family." I get the sense that the true depths of his rage are unknown, especially during 2016 and eternal.
-The sense of inevitability he gives is terrifying(to hell). Like other lovecraftian gods, the worst-case scenario is that he acknowledges your existence, meaning you're now on borrowed time. It's not a matter of if he kills you, but when.
-The (at least lesser)forces of hell feel like mere specks of dust to him(and to an extent us), blasting imps and zombies away with a super-shotgun feel like a mere passing thought.
this probably sounds like a bunch of schizo rambling, but it's something I've been thinking about, especially after his encounter with the unknown.
"The only thing they fear, is you."
It would've been cool if each game had a survival mode that gets unlocked after you beat the main game like mercenaries from the resident evil series, where the more waves you clear, the better suits and weapons/weapon upgrades you obtain.
dead space 3 sort of had the right idea where there were these neat challenges you unlock after beating the main game, but even then they should've just given us the option to skip the intro and start the game in space already.
the intros to these games can get really boring especially on repeat playthroughs(Fuck the kellion ride and the stupid mental hospital section in specific) so it would've been nice to have a way to get into the meat of the gameplay without having to listen to hallucination nicole's cheesy ass dialogue interrupt the gameplay.
