Bought a Current Model G Electric Grill

My HOA in my new Coop does not allow charcoal, pellets or propane. So after posting my dilema on Reddit, several folks recommended a variety of electric grills. After much research, I pulled the trigger on the Current Model G electric grill. Wish me luck!

Winery Visit - wherer to stay?

Each year my family and I always go to Hudson Valley area in early October to visit the wineries, and to take advantage of the changing of the leaves. We usually only do day trips but this year we're looking to stay for a weekend. Any suggestions on where to stay? Our budget is between $200-300 per night; preferably with breakfast if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In Favor of the MTA

As someone who depended on the LIRR, I completely understand the frustration and anger surrounding a possible strike. Nobody wants service disruptions, missed work, or added stress. But I think it’s important to recognize that the MTA is in an incredibly difficult position here.

The MTA is trying to balance keeping trains running, maintaining infrastructure, managing debt, and avoiding massive fare hikes for riders who are already paying a lot. Throwing unlimited money at labor agreements might feel like the easy answer, but those costs eventually land on taxpayers and commuters.

The reality is that the LIRR is one of the most expensive commuter rail systems to operate in the country. If the MTA caves to every demand without thinking long-term, we’ll all pay for it — through higher fares, worse service, or delayed improvements.

I support fair pay and respect for workers, absolutely. But I also support accountability and financial sustainability. The MTA isn’t perfect (far from it), but keeping the system viable for millions of riders has to matter too.

At the end of the day, both sides need to compromise

Current Electric Grills - feedback and opinions needed

Earlier, I posted that the HOA rules at my coop does not allow me to use charcoal, pellets, or propane. I looked at Weber electric grills, and the reviews were very good. But someone mentioned Current electric grills, a bradn I never heard of. After looking at their site, and some YouTube reviews, they appear to be the better grill for the money.

I'd love to get any feedkback or real-world experience from Current users.

Thanks in advance.

Hey there. I just bought a Weber Performer and want to smoke some ribs. Never smoked on charcoal before, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've seen dozens of ads and testimonials for brain supplements that are designed to help support brain health and memory. If you have tried or are using any of these, which one(s), and do you think it has made any difference? Thank you in advance.

I usually use #briquettes but after some research have learned that lump burns hotter, longer, and is resuable. Is lump something I could use and reuse in a #Weber Performer?

I owned a WSM and sold it when I moved into an apartment. I am now moving into a townhouse and and divided between a Big Green Egg, which I never used, or another WSM. What are the pros and cons of both? Would I need to regulate and keep an eye on the Egg as I did with the WSM? Am I able to grill on the Egg? I did own a Pit Boss, which I loved, but now I am looking to buy only one unit, due to space and $$$. I appreciate your patience and look forward to your feedback. Thanks
