They have the ad rolling around rn advertising how cheap the yearly option is w/ads and I was wondering how the ad volume is. Is it like Netflix where it's 1-2 ads per every now and then, or is it like Tubi where it's "Why is there a movie in between my ads?"
I downloaded couple episodes of GoT to watch on the plane, but the app refused to start in airplane mode. As far as I can tell, unless you have internet connection, the app doesn't start properly. Is there a work around to this?
Some of the best tv I have seen. I dont know what to watch next now. I honestly feel like the wire was the breaking bad for it's time. It was a slow burn and I almost lost interest at one point but season 4, in my opinion, is some of the best tv I have watched.
Have 5 profiles in total, 4 in home and 1 remote paid for with the plan. Just noticed I got 4 emails about me successfully deleting my profiles, and sure enough all but the main profile is gone. No one here deleted their profiles though. I checked the FAQ and it was useless, google says log out and back in which didn't work. I'm at a loss, here.
I'm confused and a little annoyed. Any suggestions?

Why would they be showing this 1996 film in 4:3 ratio? I thought I was making some weird mistake but surely they have the theatrical widescreen file?
From Argentina. I can only access Portuguese and Spanish subtitles. Checked other shows and it's the same thing. What the hell? Watching movies with English subtitles is the whole way I learned the language in the first place, and I don't feel like starting to learn Portuguese.

I really wanted to like it. alexander skarsgård described it as a "dom com" but I just don't think it lived up to that. Not much of it was funny, I actually felt like it was quite sad and that it was basically depicting an abusive relationship. There was so little levity for me in it.
I’m PISSED. I don’t share my password with anyone, I just happen to travel a lot and also live with my boyfriend part time and my family part time. I log in on a few different TVs at home. Now I get this message on my tv, I tried forgetting all devices and I still get the message. I CANT USE THE ACCOUNT I PAY FOR. I also pay extra for no ads. Ugh. Has anyone else solved this problem? I’m scared customer support will just be useless.
I switched from Netflix to Hbomax (cos I got a really good deal) a year ago. My main problem has been finding what to watch. Netflix has a whole pile of cheat codes enabling you to search by genre, sub-genre, sub-sub-genre, language, and a whole lot of other criteria.
On HBOMax, the search possibilities are far more limited. The HBOMax recommendations are totally useless.
And then, when you do find something that could be worth watching, there is almost no information. A couple of lines of vague summary and possibly a trailer that doesn't give a real impression of the nature of the film or series. I have to go to Google or IMDB or something similar just to find basic information, like the names of actors and directors.
The only way of getting any useful leads is reviews in the media and word of mouth!

I was halfway through watching LWT when this popped up.
I had no recollection of downloading HBO Max, so seeing it on my device was both confusing and intriguing. Maybe there's a chance it was somehow downloaded without my knowledge? In this day and age where major companies has access to nearly everybody's data, it isn't entirely out of the picture.
Like actually… cause they are not from welcome to derry… I feel like they hacked the system LOL
I was paying for Hulu and HBO separate. Now added the Disney bundle to Hulu but I see you can add HBO too and that would be about $10 cheaper per month for what I currently pay. But is it a convoluted process to add an existing HBO account to the bundle? I know when I added my existing Netflix to my Tmobile account for the discount it took me forever to figure it out and it was a pain in the ass. I pay for Hulu, Disney, HBO, Netflix, Prime, and YouTube but tryna save some money. Its like we went full circle back to cable lol
