Its genuinely kind of shocking that Dice allowed enemies to be on the decks of your team's carrier. Most of my games are just this right now

Im worried Dice is gonna take so long to address this that the event will be over long before they would get around to fixing it. you remember just how long it took them to fix the roof camping on Cairo

What the aircraft carriers are missing

Focus should be more on assaulting the carrier by sea rather than camping the deck with RPGs shipped via transport helis

BF6 Bots are killing the experience of regular lobbies

Im referring to conquest lobbies during prime times that are populated with bots. Also it seems completely and intentionally unbalanced as one team has bots that shoot back and cap points. While the other team that’s getting dominated has bots going a combined 7-102, don’t revive you and only revive other bots lol, and don’t cap points. I’ve also noticed that one team will have their bots replaced with real players and the other team will still have the same bots from the start of the game. 20 minutes into a game and your team has 6 bots still going 7-102 while the other team gets sentient beings. It’s almost like this is EAs version of SBMM. “We need you to lose so we’re going to purposefully give you the dumbest bots and not fill the slots with players. Thanks for your money… Oops I mean thanks for playing!” This AI slop is getting old and this game is going downhill fast. As a person who has played every BF since BF2, I’ve uninstalled this slop for good. If I wanted bots, I’d play portal bot lobbies.

I am once again begging for them to fix the color grading, its literally just a filter, this could be a patch, this would only take like 8 hours to implement into the game. fix manhattan bridge and firestorm, you can leave the rest cause the color grading fits most of the maps

Carrier Strike Mode Needs a Rework

I've played a few games on Carrier Strike Mode and a few things I noticed. To name a few, spawn killing is rampant on the carrier deck, lack of incentive to defend the carrier, and no reduction of aircraft or patrol boats once the aircraft barriers are open.

I think it could be fixed pretty easily, if aircraft in the air after the initial spawn. In previous battlefields there was usually some sort of deterrent to prevent spawn killing (e.g., spawning out of bounds, shields around the Titan, etc...). It would make the most sense for aircraft to spawn out of bounds in the sky and same for the helicopters in the default spawn island on Tsuru Reef (it's already in other BF6 maps). I have seen a couple posts mentioned CWIS, but that would not stop any one on foot or in the sea from shooting at the carrier deck.

As for the carrier itself there need to be some sort of incentive for more people to defend or attack it or at least draw attention to it (Maybe a mini cut scene). Most games are super one sided where little to no one is defending the carrier because most of the team is either spawn killing the other team or half the team is in aircraft or boats, probably still spawn killing.

Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy the mode but it could be so much better if there was a rework.

Medium-large maps are the best at delivering that BF vibe. I hope you are next!

Wake is beautiful and I finally had fun on it after 2 hours. Maybe too many ziplines.

Bro, I’m still on that carrier.

Did Rooster and Bob just teamkill the friendlies still on the carrier? Lmao.

Please can you make anyone can get into Attack Helis, 99 percent of the time I'm alone without a gunner which sucks because most of firepower is gone without a gunner.

Like Battlefield 4 or maybe a toggle in settings!

Battlefield Is Catering to People Who Won’t Learn with the new flight assist model

I genuinely don’t understand why Battlefield needs to automate this much of jet gameplay.

The whole appeal of flying jets is learning the aircraft. You practice pitch, yaw, roll, energy management, positioning, aiming, and eventually you become good enough to consistently outfly other players.

Now we have Airplane Control Assists that essentially let you point where you want to go while the game handles the actual flight controls for you.

And on top of that, there is aim assist.

So the hardest aircraft in the game, something that should have one of the highest skill ceilings; is being turned into one of the easiest things to pick up because the game is increasingly handling the difficult parts for you.

You don’t lower the skill ceiling of a difficult vehicle and call it accessibility. You just make the people who invested time mastering it feel like idiots for doing so.

I have no problem with helping new players learn. Give them tutorials, training modes, better explanations, whatever. But don’t butcher the actual mechanics that people spent hundreds of hours learning

Assist should help you learn, not replace the skill required to fly.

Aside from the carrier attack mode, all the other modes involving carrierse need spawn protection!

I had a situation today where we had 2 enemy gunboats sitting on the front side of the carrier in a way you could not kill them from above. You could not start a single jet or helicopter because they constantly shot everything down. Normally it shouldn´t be a problem to remove them, but most people simply don´t care to protect the main spawn and let´s be real here, they shouldn´t!

Worse we had an enemy jet flying around the carrier killing every air vehicle too!

In BF 1942 you could drive the carriers yourself and they had anti air turrets you could use yourself to defend the carrier. I am well aware we will never get this back, but at least make the carriers a spawn protected zone then. In BF 3 we had carriers too on some maps as a main spawn zone and they WERE!!!! a spawn protected zone!

Furthermore right now enemies can drop on the tower of your carrier and there is NO WAY to get up to them there to kill them. At some point we had 3 people sitting there, one witih a spawn beacon, one supply solider and another one with an AT4 killing all the ships which tried drive away from the carrier. Or they shot at the helicopters too!

If you give people the chance to act bad they will take every chance to do it, simply because there is no punishment for their actions!

Wake Island, Tsuru Reef, Golmud Railway. These three maps are a perfect example of what maps in a Battlefield game should look like from the start

Big maps, plenty of vehicles, none of these fckng corridors, even for a mode like Conquest (this always left me wondering). I think DICE themselves have forgotten that Conquest was one of the defining features of the entire Battlefield series.

I have nothing against Metro-style maps. I actually enjoy playing on them. But not when your entire first year is basically nothing but maps like these.

BF3 had a great expansion called Close Quarters. Why was it so hard to add something similar as a separate mode instead of coming up with 150 different modes that you eventually removed anyway? That's a mystery to me.

Those who want the main mode play Conquest. Those who want a stripped-down version of Conquest play Breakthrough (the new Rush). Those who want pure chaos and close-quarters combat play Close Quarters. It sounds logical and simple.

By the way, the Close Quarters maps were some of the best, even though the mode itself was all about close-range combat. Multiple levels in the buildings (I'll repeat, these maps were designed for close-quarters combat, and yet!), great design choices for both the buildings and the maps. Yeah, DICE really did have some great level designers once. Ziba Tower will always have a special place in my heart.

But DICE went with the "try to please everyone" approach, and ended up pleasing no one. Well, maybe one day they'll finally realize it (they're already starting to, judging by the way they're removing these cloned modes) that trying to please everyone is a bad approach.

Especially for a game that already has a huge, established fanbase.
