These are the players on your team and squad

Firstly, I want to point out that I'm an above average player at best. You can see me mess up on my aim multiple times. Aiming down with my mouse is definitely my kryptonite. This clip is right before I uninstalled several days ago from Steam recording.

What I want to point out though, is the decision making of the enemy team. It's why Conquest is the worst offender when it comes to being so one-sided. Like, it's not even about the aiming and killing enemy players at this point. It's the fact that people are just... playing like a worse version of bots.

You see people dying from me. You see me shoot people that you're reviving. Like, what in the world? At what point does it not register to not revive people in front of me? I should've died multiple times in the clip. They let me hide and reload multiple times.

There is more flinch in the Attack Helicopter while being shot at than when you're sniping. That is how unbalanced this game is.

When you are flying the attack helicopter and you're being shot at by guns, you receive literally more flinch than if you were sniping and being shot at by the same guns. I just noticed this today, and thought I would share so you have an idea of just how poorly balanced this game is in it's current state.

My biggest issue with Battlefield 6 and the whole franchise

The biggest thing I hate about Battlefield 6 and the franchise is that they constantly want to reinvent the wheel, and it really annoys me in literally every Battlefield game.

The best and most recent example is gunplay and bloom in Battlefield 6. During the beta, there was so much positive feedback about the gunplay and bloom, and then they started adjusting it like almost every week or so. They constantly changing it back and forth. First more bloom, then suddenly less bloom again.

And the thing is, they already solved it in many previous Battlefield games and the community was happy. Why start from scratch again?

The best thing they could do is to take inspiration from previous games, import the best things from back then and then refine the details with the new titles like Battlefield 6, but keep focusing on new features, a bigger sandbox, more gameplay depth and more innovation, instead of constantly changing the same thing back and forth for almost a year. The game has felt stuck to me since the beta, it feels like it's not making any progress.

While they keep making such strange decisions, so many great things that used to make Battlefield really great are missing, and there are so many lost features that they should just import on which they could build.

In my opinion, the game just lacks so much depth. Vehicles for example feel extremely linear and superficial to play, as there aren’t that many loudouts compared to Battlefield 4. It's no longer possible to find your own truly and unique playstyle in the sandbox with them. It’s just the same every game, it’s even worse with jets as they don’t have a loadout at all.

Sub Sonic Rounds Give You Streamers Lobbies

Having the option to run these is one of the cooler things ever in a Battelfield title. Previous titles you’d get a velocity nerf but these are genuine stealth. Peoples lack of awareness is palpable.

Question from a new Battlefielder

Battlefield 6 is the first I’ve played in the franchise, and have really enjoyed the experience so far. I have about 300 hours of gameplay thus far, and consider myself a casual player. I am a PS5 player.

However, with the devs updating the gunplay/gameplay every few weeks, it feels difficult to build that muscle memory or build upon existing skill. Feels like every week, some major changes have been made and the game feels quite different. Awesome to see updates regularly, just frustrating when it feels like a whole new game every other week.

Have past Battlefield titles had this same level of gameplay changing so often? And can these kinds of game-changing updates be expected for the duration of the games lifespan? I can acknowledge that this game is still in its first year since, but just hoping to manage expectations moving forward, as I really enjoy this game.

Cheers,

I swear this game artificially messes with how maches play as they progress.

Time and time again I play a match of escalation where gun play seems super easy im winning most gun fights, lots of shots hitting there target and enemy are dropping quick. Then my team goes 2 up and now I'm having to dump a lot of rounds into people im struggling to win fights even when I shoot first and half the time its like my shots don't register. Either I get games like this or the opposite where once my team go 2 down now I'm some sort of unstoppable machine.

Everyone fights over tanks and helis but this is one is the most underutilized and hated OP vehicle in the game

Everyone only uses this at the start of the match for traveling but is never used in every single matches.

This literally melts infantry and not only that, this is so agile and fast and is basically your moving armor.

Won every single game with this vehicle with one of the highest kill count and captured obj.

Was nice while it lasted I guess.

Orange dots are stuck again. Clear all does not work. Thanks Dice.

Recent heli experience in a nutshell

I admit, had I been paying more attention I may have been able to dodge this one. The point is that there seems to be a heli sniping trend happening and exclusively this week I'm constantly being chased by at least 2 one-shot-kill missiles at any time. Is it just a me problem or is there a recent change behind this?

If we're gonna do flag patches, can they at least be in regs?

At least they got the stars on the right side if they're gonna put it on the wrong shoulder.

DICE, please fix the matchmaking before it drives players away.

I know this is another post about matchmaking, but I think it’s important we keep highlighting it until DICE acknowledges it and gets a fix out.

This was my match yesterday. I was the only real player on my team, which wasn’t even full, while the opposing team had eight real players. To make matters worse, this wasn’t Casual Breakthrough it was a standard multiplayer match.

Matchmaking in its current state is seriously hurting the BF6 experience. Teams are consistently uneven, players are being thrown into bot filled lobbies, and matches are often decided before they even begin.
Battlefield is at its best when matches are close, competitive, and feel like a genuine back and forth.

Right now, too many games feel like a foregone conclusion from the loading screen.
I really hope this is high on DICE’s priority list because the gameplay itself is fantastic it’s the matchmaking that’s dragging the experience down.

Genuinely, why is every single match hilariously imbalanced?

I can’t pinpoint when this started, but literally every single match is completely one sided one way or the other. It’s not an exaggeration.

I want to like this game, I have 140 hours in it and genuinely enjoy it despite its faults. Im not trying to nitpick or insufferably complain, but it is maddening how imbalanced things are right now.

It’s every single game to the point where it feels intentional. Is there something I’m missing or are the Saudi’s reading some algorithm that tells them a 50/50 W/L ration helps retain and grow their 35k player base on steam?

It’s all so tiresome.
