I completed my first game with positive KD. I am generally the only Xbox player in a lobby full of MnK peeps and consistently get my ass kicked.

That's all.

PS - I've a functioning social life, just no one to share gaming happiness with. I'm completely new to competative gaming, only played a little bit of COD before this.

Game continues to have the “Direct function GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with

Everything is updated I’ve verified files I’ve deleted and reinstalled I’ve tried DX11 have no issues with any other games or anything else I do, wondering if anybody has actually found a true fix for this?

To preface, I’m an okay tank player. I’m not going to win any tournaments but I’ve had more than a few games where I’ll be driving the Main battle tank and get 20+ kills without dying and tank out a few enemy tanks myself. I also love being the gunner in tanks and so often will I spawn in a teammates tank and they will just charge straight into an enemy objective and get obliterated. For you guys that don’t have a lot of tank experience and want to try it out, please play it slow. You will be far more successful if you keep yourself near cover, put yourself out there get a few kills and when you start taking a lot of damage back into cover and heal up. Always be looking out for ways to flank enemy armor and try to stick around a lot of friendly infantry. They will be a huge help in keeping you repaired and pushing up to take out the pesky engineers and to help you take out enemy tanks. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

I know people have said this before but I just hate bots...I'd rather play in a half empty lobby than ever go against bots. They can see you from a mile away..they auto shoot you as soon as you turn a corner..it's worse when they are in tanks..I hate it.

I mainly play as infantry, so that’s probably why I’m not feeling the same enjoyment as other players with this map. Sure, I like the change of pace compared to the other (smaller) maps in the game, but still there are some issues I have with how the map plays out.

I appreciate the abundance of cover, that is definitely an improvement over BF4’s version. So while snipers are not a huge annoyance on this map (versus a map like Liberation Peak…), I find that I’m constantly hunted by attack helis and little birds. I don’t remember that as part of the experience in BF4’s version (at least on console) and I’m unfamiliar with how they play/feel in this game compared to past titles (since I’m a trash pilot). Running from house to house is a good remedy, but the number of times I try to cap an objective just to have one of those annoying creeps fly in a circle above me is countless. This isn’t a significant problem if my team is there, speaking of which…

Where are they? In BF4, it was pretty common to have most of your team and the enemy team fight over objectives at the top middle of the map, but after so many matches my team is no where to be found. I know the train is more fun to fight over, and everyone is in a vehicle so that probably explains it. Still, it’s surprising how many times it’s me and maybe two others going against half the enemy team to maintain the top middle of the map. And as someone who likes playing infantry, I still don’t find the other points in the map viable to fight over. The flags near the HQs and the southern one are dominated by vehicles, so I typically avoid unless I run as an engineer.

This could also be a conquest thing. I find on other game modes like escalation that players generally understand how to play the objective. On conquest…not so much.

I’m probably just a cranky old guy who maybe needs to try out different play styles so I can enjoy it more. I’m really just jealous that everyone loves the map and I’m not there yet. To me, this is an A or B map still (Contaminated and Cairo are still my beloved). Hopefully I can find the same enjoyment so it’s S tier in my book like so many of you. Glad you guys got your vehicle map.

Been playing around with new guns and loadouts recently but went back to the M4 to check some challenge boxes.

I know they tweaked recoil but the gun feels off unrelated to that. Seems like it's TTK is suddenly much longer and although the ROF is the same, I believe, it just feels slower all around.

Am I nuts or is anyone else feeling the same?
