I’m not sure if it’s just in my neck of the hood but what is going on with all the stray cats? Summer time is coming and the FUCKING FLEAS are starting to make their way again

Don’t mean to rant but what can actually be done? Animal control has been unhelpful to say the least

I’ve caught a few kittens and mommas and turned them into the pound and they brought them back.. something about TNR (trap neuter return) ive tried spraying my deck with flea killer I got the lawn care deterrent hell I’ve sprinkled chili flakes and cinnamon all over my lawn and driveway to try and keep theses strays off my deck and the fleas they bring am I alone in this matter ? What is everyone else doing?
