So I have been playing the Remake for about 15-20 or so hours now, and I just finished the Minecrawler nest. Queen fight aside, so far the game has been difficult, but I would say fair. That being said, however, I just experienced a massive difficulty spike, and I'm wondering if it's just me.

So, for context, I just finished the minecrawler nest, took the eggs back, and arrived at the Orc Burial Ground, and I am stuck. The enemies inside are wiping the floor with me in one to two hits, whereas barely a quest ago it was closer to 5-6. For additional context, I'm running a full warrior build, First playthrough, so I went with the Old Camp. My chest armor is fully upgraded, and my belt and boots are a little over halfway upgraded, and I am level 14. Granted, I don't have acrobatics for the dodge roll as I have been just fine parrying up until this point. However, the Orcs in the burial ground are slaughtering me. If I mistime a parry and instead get a normal block, they knock me over and then basically combo me to death in my recovery animations. So is acrobatics basically a necessary skill? I'm good at parrying, but when there are 4-5 Orcs all ganging up its hard to parry them all.

So several people have recommended me this game and told me it's right up my alley so I tried it. I got to the old camp and encountered Bullit and fought him, he clearly out leveled me but he was easy to dodge so I kept smacking him in the face with my old sword at level 2. Game froze his health because it wasn't ready for me to win. That is fucking EGREGIOUS, like I want to uninstall but I also want to go it a fair chance, is there more hand holdy shit like that in here? Should I keep going or am I going to run into trash like this all the time?

So I finished the game, and I really adore it. My only problem is that I got told I can't become a mage anymore after I joined the old camp and became a guard. Well, I was fine with this and just spent my points on melee skills, strength and dex until I learned that once you join the new camp after the death of the firemages, you can become a water mage and learn the magic requirements! Ofc, I was out of points at this point in the game because I was about to head to the final boss. Stupid ass guides lied to me!

Hello, i’ve been playing gothic remake on the past week. It’s one of the besr rpgs i ever played so far. Now i wonder if i should play the other two games or if there will be an addition to this world

I killed Gomez right >!after the murder of the Fire Mages in Chapter 3.!< Now I'm wondering if this will cause issues later on and what the actual consequences are.

I'm particularly unsure about Stone: >!He's currently just standing at his forge as usual, hasn't mentioned Gomez's death, but is already able to improve the Ore Armor for me. Wouldn't he normally end up in the dungeon later when the Old Camp gets wiped out? Will he still be in swamp camp and give me the Upgrade for the wardens armor?!<

>!(The three female slaves are still alive in my playthrough and actually reacted to Gomez's death.)!<

Has anyone done this before and knows whether this breaks any quests, or if Stone will continue to work fine later on?

I've been doing the Rice Lord's quest where I need to find some missing dude. I figured out it's the dead guy from the wolf cave nearby, but I looted that location before I had started this quest. Now I can't start a dialog with the Rice Lord to submit it. How do I fix this shit?
