I didn't fight gomez before and didn't have the ore armor. I talked with xardas about getting the ore armor and have teleport stone from sunken tower. (but it is not in my questlog).

As soons as I teleport to old camp, there is a npc waiting and attacking after dialog, everyone else is not hostile till I go inside to gomez. Doesn't matter if I kill everyone or just knock them down, gomez is either hostile or just says go away. I can't talk to him about the armor and he always stands up from the throne if I get near.

Hello, ive finished Gothic remake as 1h master, bow master and pure mage. Now I only wanna make 2h templar.

I had in mind that ill start with boosting strength to ~50 and master one hand weapons (since its required to start learning 2h). I did it, works really good for now.

After that, my idea was to put ~ 30 points to mana, learn first magic circle, so I can use light rune, healing rune and wind strike rune for some crowd Control. After that, max str and 2h mastery.

Im in doubt now. Should I spend like 45 LP to get this magic, or is it just absolutely uselless, better just learn 2h asap?

I thought some str/magic build will be interesting, i will stun enemies with magic, finish job with 2h and go on. Problem is, I feel like pure meele will just do all of that better? Without wasting LP?

Do You guys have some experience?

Since teleport runes dont seem to work, I'd appreciate helpful comments.

I can’t quite understand how the dialogue choices work in Gothic. When multiple dialogue options are presented, is it only possible to choose one, or can you eventually ask all of the available questions? Sometimes, choosing one option moves the conversation forward immediately, while other times I’m able to select multiple options afterward.

Some games have the main option highlighted, while the others are simply questions to help you learn more about the quests. With Gothic it gets confusing sometimes.

For example when talking to Xardas, if you choose the first three you can no longer choose the last option >!"The Brotherhood fell apart".!<

It’s not really a question, more of a small rant 😂 Really liking the game though!

On Pc we came check via steamdb, but what about consols? Can we get the numbers?

so i came back home from vacation and my permadeath run is.. gone. like it never existed. no problems with the other saves tho.
last played august 9th and right before entering chapter 5
i even have the background recording but i cant properly replay it, only for a few seconds at most
anyone else had this problem or knows how to fix it?

So this is my first playthrough ever, and I've invested in magic from the third chapter on, but to get to the third chapter I've used and invested some resources in melee. Now I'm in the temple and nothing is fun anymore. Melee does no damage, magic feels slow and not worth the investment since you're using up more resources for little benefits, I can't handle 2 enemies at once.

I don't know what level I am but combat never really felt fun for me. I think I explored and did most of the quests around the colony.

If I could restart, I would try to build a templar or just a melee guard, but I don't feel like doing it all over again. I don't know if I should just push through or give up on the game. If I knew magic was so lame I wouldn't have bought the game.

As someone who played the original game, i was really amazed what the remake did with the sleepers temple. I think this is one of the coolest dungeons i ever walked around in. The only shame is that all the nice gear you find there is basically useless, since there is no real challenges left.

The end fight with the nightmares was a great idea.

And the very last battle was actually super simple. After failing first try, i just summoned me 6 demons with scrolls i had left, and they finished the fight for me.

I dont get all the hate. It was a really well made ending for a great remake, and i'm more than happy that i got the opportunity to experience this game again in a state of the art remake.

Hey, so im in Act 6 Right now but I haven’t been able to level up for like the past two acts. First I thought it’s only cause of some bug, when I got (officially) kicked out of the old camp and joined the water mages saturas stopped wanting to teach me completely even though I did the initiation quest, but now I realised I cannot level up the important stats anywhere. I cannot learn two handed combat, I cannot up my Dex or strength and no one wants to talk to me.
The game is a blast but this robs me my enjoyment, since I have saved like a ton of LP for mage stuff and I don’t know what to do now.
I’m on ps5 by the way!

So i just got done finishing the entire sleeper temple segment, i got all the gemstones and the strange sword, but i still can't interact with the barrier at the end of the temple. What am i doing wrong here?

Are there any repercussions if you lie to Gomez about people you know? If you leave out Y'Berion, but lie about the others, he lets you join.

I'm not even 100% sure if I want to join the old camp, but anyhow.

Would lying hurt the rest of the playthrough?

Want to join the firemages i‘m act 3 said to thorus i wanna join mages and just completed the fire trial.
But i can‘t go up to corriso (fire master) cause everybody gets angry when i go in.
What can i do against it?
