S4 E12 last 15 minutes honest reaction
After just finishing this episode, I'm going to assume this is the one folks talk about. My day is ruined
A new mini series
I thought this would be a cool idea. Basically, continue the show with Luciano's storyline after S5, but also flashback to certain events the show missed from the time jump between S4 and S5. This was off the top of my head, but I think it could definitely be something that could work. Was curious about anybody else's opinions on this.
How did Richard Harrow acquire a suppressor for his Enfield m1917 rifle?
In the season 4 finale, Richard Harrow uses a silenced sniper rifle and mistakenly shoots Chalky White's daughter in the restaurant.
I'm fascinated with Harrow's methodical and disciplined weapon selection depending on the job, and when I first saw Harrow with a silenced Colt 1903 pistol earlier in the season, I thought no way, that technology was commercially unavailable at the time. Until I learned the OSS (Early CIA) used these suppressors and manufacturers would even sell them to the public.
But as far his rifle goes, no such case exists, and although this series is pretty damn accurate when it comes to the weapons at the time, where could have acquired a rifle suppressor for this Enfield?
If Boardwalk Empire had been written by Tennessee Williams or Vladimir Nabakov, the protagonist would not have been Nucky
If Boardwalk Empire had been written by one of these figures(hypothetical scenario) or even a playwright of this pedigree,Nucky would not have been the protagonist and instead Gillian would have been the protagonist. Come to think of it,she as a character is very rare and experimental for prestige tv
Richard Harrow Season 4 Discussion
I can't be the only one who thought the way he was written in that last episode was kind of... silly? And almost disrespectful to who his character was? He had one last job to get the family he always dreamed of, and all of a sudden he gets the shakes and accidentally shoots the wrong person?
I don't know it felt a little cheap to me.
Does the John Macarragle character have any real life equivalent
I’m just curious about the political standing at that point in time, just finished Season 2 Episode 9 and was shocked that he isnt a real historical figure, pls avoid spoilers for the rest of the show if possible.
Lucy
I haven't been able to stand her since season 1. I am currently season 2 ep 3 on my first watch of the show. The way she treated Margaret made me feel like she got what she deserved. She just got caught reading the script into the mirror and as much as i still cant stand her.....I'm starting to feel bad for her. Nelson is friggen deranged lol.
Again, I may not be no Angela Darmody when it comes to drawing nor do I consider myself someone who builds bookcases, or even a glorified Pizzaposter. But I decided to draw AR in the style of a cigarette card, granted it probably looks terrible but still

All show long, I was afraid Nucky would get taken out, until the last few minutes that showed how personally and deeply he broke his promise to Darmody, finally cutting ties. Then, I wished for and knew he needed to die.
