I’m re-watching Boardwalk Empire after 10 or 12 years. When Dr. Narcisse makes his appearance in season four, he starts going on and on about the superior black race of Nubians. This is a major theme of his entire character. But last night when I was watching the same episode, he calls them Libyans. Although Libya is of course a country in Africa, it is not somehow representative of the entire race of Negroes. I remember this clearly because I had to look up the word Nubian. Libyan makes no sense. Anyone else remember this?

That makes no sense! Libya is a country in Africa, but not representative of the black race in any way.
