Never made a cosplay like this before, but we were determined to wear something cool to the Bushiroad booth!!

I ordered 5, only received 1. They cancelled my order”guaranteed preorder” so I won’t shout out the name of the website. But I also recognize that I should be happy I got the 1 I got, so, for the record. I am thankful lol.

I go to a store here in Utah, we had our opening night last night. My cousin had ordered 4 boxes and I bought two off of him. In the second box, 4th to last pack, I pulled these out! I left out the two SRs for the photo, a Gobfin ignis and a Lamp, but here's the math we did on the value in the pack!

Finally found a box of cards at my local card shop. 80 bucks for the box. Was like why not idk if I'll ever see them again. BAM 🤯 was not expecting this.

For now, I'm just a collector of the pretty cardboard as I'm a fan of the game. I've been able to open 2 boxes and both trial decks, which leaves me with a lot of doop cards.

I know next to nothing about playing the card game aside from what I've gleaned through the posts here, but I've seen the rule allowing 4 cards of the same name in a deck. So I'm split on if I should just keep one of each card or keep up to 4 of each if I someday get the chance to play the game.

So I'm wondering what people are doing/will do (when we can reliably get the damned things).

Bushiroad has a booth in NYCC this year and because this is the only way to get palworld for msrp where I live, I decided to buy packs (limits 6). I made my brother go in line too because even though he doesn't care about palworld that much, he still was nice enough to go on line and buy the packs but said he wanted to keep them separate just in case. I got nothing but when he opened his pack and mentioned the the foil being first, I just thought he opened it wrong, then every card was foil, and I saw the gold a knew what happened. Im still shocked, literally from random packs in bushiroad. Literally a god pack. I got gloves and put them in inner sleeves and we don't know what to do with them yet. I still just can't believe it. $28 ( $3.80 per pack) for this.

What are we really doing here??? If these Gambit cards weren't lucky.....

Was going to originally keep the box sealed but desperation for chillets and not wanting to wait a week for them to ship caused me to bust open this bad boy. My brain malfunctioned when I saw it and I was like damn that’s cool as fuck. The next pack I opened after that I got my OSR shadow beak(one of my personal chase cards) and i was even more shook. Based off of my previous two boxes it’s like a one and done once you get your OSR so a SP and an OSR in one box? Nice.

Still gonna have to buy two more chillets for my deck though 😭

No god pack unfortunately but I’m really happy with my pulls. Love the artworks and this whole franchise in general 😌

I cut some pals off the trial decks and booster box graphics and glued them on to a painted pokemon etb box that I will now be using for storage. It's not the best done but it is pretty cool!
