Santabarbaratown Mistake

Towards the end, "See, colorblindness is a genetic trait almost always passed down from father to daughter." This isn't right, particularly for red/green color blindness. It is almost always passed from mother to son. Not sure why, but this scene always drives me crazy.

Headcanons? Theories?

I’m a new-ish Psych fan (3rd rewatch) and I was curious about what other people who have been fans for a lot longer think about what goes on beyond the screen.
What’s your favorite theories or headcanons about the main group (Henry, the detective polycule, mcnab, Vick, Woody, etc).
I always wonder about Vick a lot myself, we see a lot of her personality but I didn’t even realize she was married till like season 2? I thought she just chose a sperm donor and went from there. But I’m also curious about other characters too!
What ideas or character insights do you guys have?

Saw an employee named Dynasty

When you hush her it's Shhh Dynasty. I was so happy but almost simultaneously disappointed to see that name in public!

Thrift Store Find

I was on vacation with my family and decided to pop into a thrift store because my wife and I love finding treasures. I specifically like collecting movies. The thrift store had a massive wall of DVDs made of three shelves that were each about 20ft wide. Imagine my surprise when I found “Psych the complete Sixth season”. I started poking through the shelves and found every season scattered among other DVDs on the shelves. They were marked as 3 dollars. I thought “yeah these are more than worth 24 dollars and when I got to the register the cashier said DVDs with yellow stickers are half off today. So I got the entire collection for 12 dollars!

I’ve been watching and rewatching Psych since the series premiered and I was recently bummed out because I made the financial decision to cancel many of my streaming services in favor of watching media that I actually own and was left with no way to binge Psych. Well it was my lucky day!

What's your favorite piece of dramatic dialogue from Psych?

We all have our favorite comedic lines and running jokes from the show, but I'm curious if any dramatic lines or moments stand out to other viewers.

I've always loved the bit of dialogue Shawn utters at Lassiter's wedding — "I'm good at what I do, and what I do is good. Isn't it?" That line was delivered perfectly.

I can't stand "In for a Penny"

I'm venting here bro for what has to be my favorite show of all time with even the worst episodes I can get a laugh or two out, I genuinely make an exception to skip this episode every time it comes on.

Frank is such a scumbag and it doesn't come across as funny or tense whatsoever he's genuinely just an insufferable human being who's face I want to cave in every time he's on screen.

And the way Shawn just completely crosses Juliet's boundaries by going behind her back multiple times and completely invalidating her feelings on the matter is just so gross like this is the worst of what Shawn's character can be.

And the worst part about it is that Juliet is the one who ends up forgiving them. Water under the bridge just like the 'cause they solved one damn case together. And just like that Frank doesn't have to face any accountability.

I'm just happy we got Lloyd in the later episodes instead of this clown fuck frank all my homies hate frank

Lassie and Jules in s4

I’m in the middle of a rewatch and just finished High Top Fade-out, and it made me SO MAD.

I know that Juliet and Lassiter are cops and can’t always tell Shawn and Gus everything, but I don’t blame them for being mad at the detectives. Between Lassie getting in Gus’s face, letting them think that Gus and his friends were in danger, kidnapping them and tying them up in an interrogation room, and then acting like Shawn and Gus were wrong for being upset, they pissed me off so bad!

When Shawn and Gus were like “I thought we were a team!” 💔

Also, Lassie JUST ASKED FOR THEIR HELP like four episodes earlier with Old Sonora, Shawn saved his life two episodes earlier, and there wasn’t even a ‘sorry we had to keep it a secret’.

Psych Lego set

Hey guys!!! I have a nine year old autistic son that loves psych and legos!!! This Lego set could be a reality if we get 10,000 votes. You do have to put in an e-mail address to vote which stinks :/ I wish you could just vote without sharing information. I thought I would put it forward in this group to see if anyone would be interested in voting. I know a Psych LEGO set would make my son’s life! I added my vote!

Drimmer's plan.

Ok in the episode where lassy gets framed, let's say drimmer actually kills our boy and Lassy somehow.

How well do you think the "Shawn and lassy were lovers" thing would hold up?

Who would solve the case?

I'm guessing it would hold up for exact long enough for guss to cryingly say "my boy don't swing that way"

Then Henry comes out of retirement to catch that SOB and stays paired up with Guss for revenge....

Random Psych(adjacent) Pin

Went to a music festival this past weekend and one of the many booths was selling a bunch of pins. I happened to find this “I’m a PSYCH major” pin, which I would like to clarify I’m not. BUT, it just so happened to be the same font as the Psych logo! So I would like to adopt it as a psycho pin haha.
